I was concerned about staying in a hotel with no air conditioning and no TV, but thankfully the weather was cool enough that we enjoyed our stay here very much (November). Ceiling fans and louvered windows provided enough breeze to be comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, we were steps from the beach, the breakfast was good, overall it was a very relaxing place to stay.
We stayed here for our wedding and honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Any questions that we had about the property or surrounding area, they graciously helped us out with accurate information. The accommodations were much better than a hotel. We had a wonderful kitchen to cook in with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There were sliding glass doors that opened up to a patio with a dining table and chairs and a spectacular view of the Pacific and nearby islands. The bathroom had a beautifully tiled 2- person glass shower and plenty of towels.
This is a very nice condominium easy check-in easy check out it was very clean very close to the beach wonderful sunrises and sunsets plenty of restaurants close by very close to the airport We would stay here again
Lovely stay at Honua Kai, was the first time renting out a condo style room with full kitchen area, etc - was so convenient being able to make smoothies, cook food and store items in fridge/freezer. We were also upgraded to a 2br stay and loved the extra room, will definitely book again!
"Beautiful Property Close to Everything in Wailea"
Just returned from an amazing 10 days in Maui where we stayed the whole time at the Palms Wailea Outrigger. I took my wife and two daughters as well as my 80 year old Dad so we had all the generations represented, ha ha! Upon our delayed midnight arrival we were happy to see that someone from the property stayed to greet us even though it was an hour past the closing time of the office. They could have easily just left a key with security for that night but it showed they cared about the personal touch. We had a small hiccup with the room unfortunately that first night but Matt, the Manager, quickly made up for it which really helped us enjoy our stay. We found our room to be very spacious and well kept and all the beds were quite comfortable especially in the Master. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our breakfasts and suppers as we ate most lunches off property. The BBQ ran almost everyone night and we could eat out on the large lanai space we which we all enjoyed. We stayed in Maui last year at the fancy Westin Kaanapali Villas but enjoyed our stay here at the Palms much better with its boutique feel and spacious rooms/kitchen. We didn't have to go buy boogie boards or beach chairs to leave behind like last year as they were in the room and Matt even tracked us down an umbrella for the beach upon my request. Every night guests gathered around the pool to watch the sunset over the ocean as the property is set up perfectly for this. Definitely will stay again!
