The venue appears to be a huge apartment complex converted to a hotel, so the rooms are huge w/ 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen (fully supplied w/ dinnerware, appliances, glassware, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils), in room washer/dryer, large living area w/ another pullout couch. Comfortably holds 6 persons. Clean & comfortable, within walking distance of everything in Lahaina. The price was only $168 on expedia. The only issue we had was: 1) they couldn't "print" a simple document from my laptop; and 2) they charge a $125 "cleaning fee" for cleaning the room at the end of the stay. Note: they do NOT clean the rooms daily; you have to wash your towels and sheets in your room during your stay if you want them cleaned.

Love the Wailea area and this condo is well located near great restaurants, shopping and transportation routes. The condo development is nicely maintained however our unit, built in 1979, hadn't had much updating since then. Positives: comfortable bed, great ocean view, nice pool. Negatives: chipping paint, ants in bathroom, ugly dated decor and furniture. Key is to be away enjoying Maui and spend as little time as possible in the unit.

We have stayed at the Paki Maui several times before, but this time instead of an end room on a lower floor (even though we book ocean front, it's more of an ocean view), we were upgraded to a beautiful 2 bedroom actual ocean front condo. We couldn't have been happier. The view was spectacular and the room was perfect! The staff even let us into the room a bit early to put our groceries into the refrigerator.
