Had a very classic Japanese appeal with modern amenities that I greatly appreciated it. They give a yukata for each day to maintain cleanliness. The private onsen itself was very clean and spacious. The futon was fluffy and comfortable enough that you couldn’t feel the floor beneath. Location was nice and easily walkable although there is a bit of a hill to get to the hotel. Minutes away is the shopping area that leads to Dogo Onsen. Staff were very helpful. This hotel is located uphill from the main Dogo Onsen area and takes a few minutes of walking up the hill to get there, and there is no store or restaurant within 3-minutes walk. We didn't eat in but you probably should. We asked the hotel to call a taxi a couple of times and both times they tried very hard but couldn't find a car... Really??
