We ate in the Japanese restaurant one night and French the other evening. The food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. The water quality is great and the rooms are really nice and spacious. Food is at great level especially the French restaurant. Breakfast were among the best we ever experienced.
