Room was smaller than expected (about 10 tatami). Onsen was fine. Food was tasty, and changed the second day, which is nice. The ryokan building itself is quite pretty. It's easy enough to find, less than a 10 minute walk from the station. It is in the middle of a town, so it doesn't feel very rural, but I guess that's a tradeoff for the convenience of the location. And since it's in a town, it's quite easy to walk out to cafes, restaurants, convenience store, etc. Staff were all very friendly. The dinners are fabulous and the service outstanding.
