"We had a really nice stay at Ocean Porto Beach house hotel. Don’t let the understated front facade fool you, it’s very nice inside! Ivo, our host, was very welcoming and friendly, and offered lots of useful tips for the area, including suggesting the inexpensive on-street parking nearby… after you check in you can park on the street and get a dashboard meter ticket until 8 pm and have it carry over several hours into the next day, so you don’t have to wake up early to get a new ticket. Matosinhos happens to be the seafood capital of the seafood capital! The restaurants were off the charts amazing, with their outdoor grills and fresh catches. The beach is about a 10 minute walk, and the airport is about a 10 minute drive. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was most enjoyable. A nice breakfast is served in the morning. Highly recommended!"

"Had a really nice stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was actually a really nice surprise, with lots of choices — savoury, sweet, hot food and continental, so plenty to choose from. We stayed in a triple room but the towels and water were only provided for two people, so it would’ve been good to have these for all three guests. The free private parking was a big plus, and they have EV charging points too. Parking outside was also easy and free. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. Would happily stay here again!"
