The cosy one-bedroomed apartment has recently been renovated and guests can enjoy the perfect mix of character features and contemporary appliances and modern comforts. The apartment is located just off the main road in Matlock and is perfectly situated for the town's numerous pubs, independent restaurants and cafes. There are many walks right from the front door and hikers will find this the perfect place to come back to after a long day's ramble in the Peaks. The property comes with Wi-Fi and all the appliances and equipment required to cook up a feast. Matlock is an extremely popular Peak District town because of it's central location, good transport links and many shops and attractions. Nelly's Nook is only a sort walk from the train station. Crown Square and the river Derwent are in the heart of Matlock, while the award-winning Hall Leys Park has its own boating lake, tennis courts and riverside walks. The apartment was in a great location - on the high street. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. I spent two weeks in self-isolation here and became quite comfortable. There is no noise at all from other flats in the building double-glazed windows block out external noise and there’s a quiet air-ventilation system too. All appliances are new, all furnishings comfortable.
