The place was off the main road and boat channel to be very quiet. The motel was completely destroyed by Hurricane Ian in Sept 2022 so has been restored since then and the owners have done a good job with lots of hard work. I was very comfortable and loved being able to control my own room temp with the mini split in my room. Parking available in front of door and boat mooring available for those who have boats. Otherwise chairs in screened outdoor space or dockside lounger available to sit and relax. Community park across the canal which gives privacy and trees for birds to perch and pelicans, ospreys and herons to hunt for fish. Janette was very helpful and responsive. Very clean and super convenient with the boat slip right next to it. The owners were super friendly, accommodating and always very responsive. Great location. This unit was very clean and cute. The shower was excellent. There was a coffee pot and they provided coffee.
