On this lovely island 22 miles off the coast of Rockland in Penobscot Bay you'll enjoy all the conveniences of a home away from home as well as the unique experience of living in a remote island community. Spend your days walking to the quiet beaches and your afternoons and evenings enjoying the large yard and fire pit. Additional amenities include WiFi (satellite service can be spotty on foggy days), flatscreen TVs and a fully equipped kitchen for family dinners at home. As the most remote island in Penobscot Bay, Matinicus Island is a wonderful place to take a deep breath and relax.
