"This beautiful property is really all about the pool and tropical garden. The kitchen has all necessary equipment and is really indoor/outdoor. The sitting area is comfortable and the kids enjoyed the tv. Really, however, all of us spent a lot of time in the pool or hammocks. My only caveat is the distance to the beach. It’s really not walkable. We rented a car and had access that way. We loved Las Terrenas and look forward to returning."

Other than the beautiful surroundings this could have turned out to be a nightmare. 1st, the listing provided an inaccurate address in the complete opposite end of the terrenas mountains that took us to the entrance of a private property. It was a hassle to climb up and a complete nightmare to drive down from. Once we were provided with the correct address, then we were told that the host was not expecting us, even when the host himself had already confirmed receipt...
