It is beautifully situated between the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Naples with a wonderful view over a suggestive landscape and the islands of li Galli. This charming property is at 30 kilometers from Sorrento and 5 km from the nice village of S.Agata Sui due golfi . The Villa provides everything to ensure a relaxing stay. The Villa has a private infinity pool, solarium, terrace with a wisteria - covered pergola, a wide garden and car parking. Nearby the parking area there is a furnished laundry The 3 rooms are finely furnished and they feature a private terrace , air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, ideally located amongst olive trees, the swimming pool provides a gorgeous view over the sea and the Amalfi Coast . The Guests in Villa il carrubo can experience beautiful sunsets and take long open air walks in this oasis of pleasure and tranquility. Sorrento: For the ancient Romans Sorrento was a famous holiday resort. The town is the perfect mix of breathtaking scenery and magnificent terraces dropping sheerly into the sea. Sorrento also has the advantage of being in a strategic position which allows it to be the starting point of many excursions. Pompeii : The first disaster arrived with the earthquake in 62 A.D. leaving the city of Pompei in ruins. The survivors managed to rebuild the city and they brought it back to life when a second and fatal disaster hit in 79A.D. The Romans had considered Vesuvius an extinct volcano but the eruption submerged the city of Pompeii. Magma preserved the Roman city in near perfect condition for 1900 years. AMALFI COAST: POSITANO The old sea-faring town is one of the oldest settlements along the Amalfi Coast. For many years it has been an ideal resort for painters and artists such as Picasso, Oelze and Carra’ and for writers such as Moravia, Buzzati, Steinbeck. AMALFI Not only is Amalfi known as a historic Maritime Republic but it was also famous for its papermaking industry. This precious paper is still being produced for artistic purposes and limited- edition luxury books. You can also visit the beautiful Paper Mill Museum. RAVELLO Ravello is one of the jewels of the Amalfi Coast with its magnificent villas and gardens. The villa is large and spacious with a fun outdoor cooking area. Villa is built into the hillside with 2 bedrooms on the top floor with a large shared veranda and a shared large bathroom. Then diwnstairs there's another bedroom, bathroom, lounge, dinningroom and kitchen. There's also a ultility building with a washing machine, shower and toiletAir conditioning in the bedrooms worked well. There are many lovely seating areas to choose from and the pool area has 4 loungers. The villa was very clean on arrival and was cleaned again midweek, which was unexpected but welcome. The road to the villa is 1 small car width wide, with some passing places. So we appreciated the hosts recommendation of renting a small car. We were kindly led to the villa from a nearby hotel, which we appreciated given the interesting roads!Local town has some lovely restaurants and a supermarket, etc. Absolutely loved our stay at the villa. ##### Donna B. The pictures don't do this property justice! This home was one of the most beautiful villas I have ever stayed in and I've booked many. The views of the sea were amazing, the grounds with olive trees, jasmine, wisteria, mulberry trees, flowering cacti, beautiful fuscia flowers, etc....gorgeous! The peace and quiet... One big piece of advice...schedule some time to just enjoy the home for a few days without having to leave. I hated leaving the home each day...it was so great coming back after a busy day of tours and exploring. The rooms/beds were super comfy and air conditioning was nice and cool. Bathrooms were just what we needed for our group of 5\. The POOL....chefs kiss! Our hosts Raffaella and Loredana were so hospitable and assisted us with making reservations for restaurants and helping us find a private driver when we needed one. We got into a car accident and Raffaella offered to come pick us up in Sorrento...so sweet and thoughtful! If you decide to rent a car, be sure that it is smaller/narrow to get down the road to the home - we had a Jeep Renegade that got through just fine...I also recommend a automatic. Loredana escorted us the first time to the home and that was super helpful to show us how it should be done. If you are thinking of booking this property...DO IT! We can't wait to come back again. Please keep in mind that the house is located in the hills on a VERY narrow road. You will need a very small car and you will need a driver that can operate an automatic (stick). We had a fabulous week in this lovely villa. The views are absolutely stunning, the rooms spacious, beds comfortable and the whole villa is very clean and well maintained. We loved the infinity pool and it’s views, the outside dining space, barbecue and pizza oven. Loredana was lovely and very helpful. The only downside for us (and not really related to the villa) was the mosquitoes so take plenty of protection. Also ensure your car is as small as can be because the road to the villa is challenging. But all in all very worth it! ##### Sharon L. Every spare moment was spent watching boats, super yachts and wildlife (incl a pod of dolphins) from the pool and patio 350m above the sea. House private, well equipped and we loved mastering the enormous outdoor pizza oven. Two bedrooms and the upper balcony also have great views. There is a beach 20 mins away...go early for parking. Took Positano to Amalfi ferry as the cheap option for a coast tour! House well laid out , large, serviced during the week, pool beautiful and just big enough for exercising. Plenty of lawn and patio space. Fresh pasta maker at end of the lane...yum. The access lane is narrow (and I'm a Brit) but locals are helpful about using the few passing places. If you come in anything bigger than a compact car you'd better be 5☆ at reversing. If you are a light sleeper come prepared for nocturnal entertainment- owls, roosting Bee-eater birds, cockerels and distant church bells. At least you'll get to see the crystal clear stars and wonderful sun rises that others sleep through! Coming here again is on my wish list. We did our bulk shopping on arrival at Auchan Pompei after a stop at Herculeanium on the way from Naples airport. ST Agata has useful supermarket ,fishmonger, bakery. The grounds are well kept. Sorrento and the major historical sights are within easy travelling distance. The photographs of the view do not do it justice. It has to be seen as it is absolutely amazing. Access to the villa is via a very narrow single track road. We rented a Fiat 500 XL which was fine but anything larger could be difficult. Rafaella who is the contact was brilliant and could not do enough to help. She was always on hand with recommendations or to answer questions. Thank you Rafaella you made our stay so much easier. The villa exceeded our expectations. The views over the sea are amazing. The garden is well kept, and the setting is very private - no neighbours in sight. The villa is really well equipped, and we have seldom seen an equally well maintained and cleaned property. The pool, the ping-pong table and the wood-fired pizza oven were all put to good use by us! It is a great base for excursions to Capri, Pompeii, the Amalfi coast, et cetera. Raffaella was a most friendly and helpful hostess, really appreciated her help. The pool is just beautiful extending to views that are breathtaking. This whole area seems larger than the online photos suggest. Inside everything is very well appointed and clean but the weather was so good we spent very little time indoors. The location is superb making day trips very accessible with a car eg Herculaneum Positano,and Capri . The villa is beautifully secluded , this does mean there is a very narrow road to access it so i would advise a small car. However it is certainly worth the tricky drive to get to it. Rafaella is the most gracious and helpful hostess who speaks extremely good english. We would love to be back there now. ##### Chris J. Rafaela was a fantastic owner nothing was to much trouble. We will defiantly be going back. The lane is narrow but is not a problem we hired a fiat 500 XL didn't have any problems with width. The terraces are larger than shown and do offer both sun and shade. The view is beautiful. The house is practical and comfortable. We needed the heating of the house due to low night temperatures. This was easy to control. Take a compact car (width 180 cm) as it is very narrow (only one car just fits with mirrors folded to the car) and with many tight bends. ##### Matthijs J.
