"This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon!"
"The room was clean, updated and had nice amenities. Plenty of charging ports/outlets. The staff was friendly.
Only minor complaint, could not see any view from balcony because trees had grown too high at our room. "

"Wonderful place to disconnect! So peaceful! Loved listening to the babbling brook across the road while sitting on the porch swing. Well stocked with towels, dishes, all kitchen needs, even spices and condiments. Enjoyed an evening fire with fixings from the s’more basket left for guests. Very prompt responses from Daniel. "Awesome home in great condition located very close to the Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. The house has lots of amenities, a beautiful master bedroom/bathroom and a great kitchen. It was all we needed and then some. Host was great to deal with. Perfect for couples weekend or a family get away. Highly recommend this spot."
"Gorgeous house and property. The kids LOVED fishing in the pond, all 4 caught (and released) their first fish ever! Such a great experience, enabling them to enjoy nature and forget about their electronic devices for a time. "

"The house was super clean and well stocked with toiletries for our stay. The kids enjoyed seeing the cows and horses from the windows of the house. The location is nice and very close to downtown Luray as well as the park. We accidentally forgot our souvenirs and the owner was able to mail them back to us. "
