I would suggest dimmers on the kitchen & dining room lights (too bright!). We were able to bring our 2 dogs (a big ) but our older arthritic dog had a hard time managing the rather steep yard! All the rain we had added to the problem. Host was quick to respond to garbage issue. Overall a good place to stay. ##### Linda B. There was a cute, fenced yard with a lemon tree that our dog would have enjoyed if he had been there. The location is convenient and quiet, but directly across from a junkyard. That being said, the house is just adequate. Check in and check out were easy. The house was not very clean - light fixtures very dirty, rugs need cleaning, some hair and dirt in corners. The bathtub drain was clogged, and the hot water wasn't working in one of the bathrooms. The owner was very responsive and quick to repair both. The thermostat was set to a weird program that couldn't be changed, so the temperature was rarely comfortable. The kitchen was nice, but not well equipped. I feel bad leaving this review because the host was quick to answer messages and pleasant to deal with. More attention to amenities and cleanliness would add stars to future reviews. ##### Libby R.
