On website it said pool was open until midnight, but we went down and they closed it at 10pm… spent extra to go to a hotel with a pool…

Very upset worst experience I have ever had. Not only was the pool and hot tub empty and that’s part of why I chose this location for my kids to swim but the hallways smell horrible like something rotten and not clean at all. Idk if I will ever use Expedia or americinn after this experience if I could have got a refund I would have just drove back home instead

Nice place to stay while traveling ...
Stay was fine, we checked in and the room they reserved had not been cleaned. This was not good. Front desk found us another room. This property is finishing a renovation. Our room was missing a towel rack. All towels were neatly stacked. The room was nice and clean. Carpet could use a shampoo. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, bagels, etc.... overall a nice place and we would stay again.

Customer service was great. Room was pretty clean except it could use new carpet. Beds were comfy. Hot tub and pool area could use some attention. Breakfast options were good. Good stay for the price.

The room we had was awesome, better than I thought it would! Coming back next year and hope to get the same room. Staff was super friendly! Exceeded my expectations.

Outside looks nice. Went inside and floors were so dirty and stained everywhere. Elevators were really dirty. Got into the room and stains on carpet and couches. Carpet was dirty. Room smelled terrible. We will not be back!

It was kind of hard to see getting in and out with all the large trucks because it’s next to a loves truckstop. Make sure that you notice that they do not come in and clean your room or change your sheets or give you more towels and washcloths unless you specifically ask for it. it’s on a small notice by the sink and vanity. It was very clean and quiet.

The staff was knowledgeable of the restaurants in Newton that provided good food other than the nearby fast foods. I also like the layout of the room. I wasn't happy that there were no tissues in the room, and only one soap at the mirrored sink, and none at the bathtub.

It was nice and quiet. Also, an easy to get to location. I was disappointed in the cleanliness when it comes to the floors. There is carpet throughout the hotel that is quite stained every where and that makes it feel not very clean and comfortable.

Price is reasonable and within 45 minutes of Des Moines IA. Breakfast helps when traveling with children. Only one washing and drying machines. Carpet in my room was very musty. Hotel is quiet.

Disappointed
When we checked in the room we booked was 2 queens and the told us well we only have a king bed . There was 4 of us do that will not work . After several minutes and the girl asking for help from the other girl that was lying on the couch with her phone got up and helped we finally got a room with 2 queen beds . The carpets in the room definitely needed cleaned and there was only enough coffee for one pot. Disappointed.
