We stayed the week with our pups. The yard is small but enough to walk the dogs. We tried to clean up with little bags as they went. The trash dump is a close 8 minute drive. The beds are comfortable and the house is laid out nicely. The couch isn't the most comfortable but we did have access to netflix. We ordered pizzas the last night and watched movies. It was a great time. We hope to stay here again soon. We didn't bring our boat this time but there is a boat ramp just up the street. The ferry to ocracoke is only 30 minutes away and we spent 2 days on the beach. We dined in Morehead City at Taps and Tackle twice. Definitely get the Mahi Tacos. There is a great bait store in Atlantic Beach that has live shrimp and mud minnows. Tradewinds Tackle shop. There could have been some more seating in the living room and some better cleaning. Most of the dishes were dirty and had to be rewashed. A dishwasher would have been nice for a vacation spot. I also worked from home here. LOVE the painted stairs and dining room floor. The screened in porch was great for morning coffee. I highly recommend the restaurant Circa 81 in Morehead City.
