Each of our rustic cabins are wonderfully decorated and cozy! They each have a fireplace in the living area with large spacious windows looking out into the forest, smart tv's, dvd's, big comfy sleeper sofas and chairs, fire pits with lounge chairs, front and back porches with sitting areas, fully stocked kitchens, charcoal grill, dining areas inside and out, 2 bedrooms with fresh linens, and a bath with fresh towels. We take extra care in making sure each cabin is meticulously cleaned and each guest feels welcomed with Community coffee, a selection of tea, hot chocolate with marshmallows, and all the fixings to make smore's!! It was the perfect place to unwind as a family and enjoy nature. I loved how secluded it felt being surrounded by trees! We had a wonderful view of the moon each night and enjoyed the morning light through the beautiful big windows! I felt like it was the perfect location with plenty of places nearby to hike and enjoy the Buffalo River. We liked that it wasn’t too far from town, so we were able to grab lunch and ice cream with our kids one afternoon which they really enjoyed. The cabin was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Our kids enjoyed the board games and the two sweet pups that visited each day! They spoiled them with treats :) We also enjoyed painting river rocks as a family outside on the back porch one evening. We didn’t get to use the fire pit unfortunately due to a burn ban that was in place which we were super bummed about but that didn’t stop us from having a good time! The ONLY negative thing was the driveway to get up to the cabin was a bit steep which is to be expected but it was very uneven and rocky in places going up so I was a little nervous that we might not make it up but we did! Thank goodness my husband was driving LOL. I would definitely advise to drive a truck or suv. I don’t know if a car could make it! Other than that we had a wonderful time and everything was PERFECT.
