You are literally steps from the water, which makes for an incredibly peaceful stay.A few things to keep in mind:The driveway is very narrow, with just one way in and out—best suited for small vehicles.The kitchenette is perfect for morning coffee or reheating takeout, but not ideal for full cooking.Cell service can be spotty on the drive in, so be sure to download maps or directions in advance.The cottage has a lovely selection of books—perfect for unwinding.If you can, bring a kayak to fully enjoy the waterfront location.While it’s quiet and relaxing, it’s not completely secluded—there are neighbors and a shared yard.Overall, a unique and memorable spot to relax by the bay. ##### Cori P. Right in the waterfront, easy reach to Nick's Cove and the Marshall Store, and so comfortable. The host has done an incredible job of building and decorating with textures and art and furniture. Some short-term rentals go for the "generic" but here you find your host has curated the space for the perfect combination of comfort and interest. Its both spacious and cozy, which is a very fine line to draw. Our dogs loved walking on the private road away from traffic, and my wife and I loved the quiet comfort of such a great space. Jun 24, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful location but amenities lacking The place is very nice and beautifully decorated but we had some issues with ants in the kitchenette as soon as we arrived and again the morning before leaving. We also weren’t able to shower because the design of the shower made us feel like the entire bathroom would flood if we ran the water for too long. One of the doors also didn’t seem close properly so we felt a little unsafe sleeping at night. There was also a 150 cleaning fee but the space didn’t feel like it gets deep cleaned as there was build up in the bathroom sink faucet and furniture being dusty. We were also asked to take out our trash upon departure. Overall a quiet getaway but we wished we could’ve enjoyed the space more comfortably. ##### Krystal R.
