The property was very clean, and the location was perfect- located on a beautiful beach with crashing waves right outside. Maintenance left something to be desired - The telephone barely worked, the cable was out, one of the doors wouldn’t lock with the key, and there was no Wi-Fi in our unit so we had to stand in the parking lot outside one of the other units to use it (which is admittedly pretty creepy). The beautiful location and reasonable prices as well as the cleanliness of our unit and linens made it easier to overlook the shortcomings of the property. Swim right outside the front door, but bring water shoes - a bit of rock and old coral mixed in with the sand. The units are clean, well equipped and quiet. A bit of the corrosion and wear & tear one expects in the islands. They are located in a nice residential area of Marsh Harbour. It is the best place I have ever stayed in the Bahamas. Pelican Beach Villas had a great system for coordinating travel between islands and locations. Pelican Beach Villas is located on Marsh Harbour, which is a central location to many activities in the Bahamas. By staying at Pelican Beach Villas, my wife and I were able to experience numerous unique experiences, such as snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, rock climbing, shopping, local dancing, and simple airport access. The villas are clean, private, and relaxing. The modern kitchens are fitted with excellent refrigerators, stoves, individual grills, wireless internet, televisions, Vonage telephone systems, international calling, and other amenities, such as high quality showers and high quality electricity, which is sometimes hard to do in the Bahamas. The concierge team was very informed and connected to local ferry operations, taxi operations, restaurants, and other service providers.
