Located in the hypercentre, you'll find the Maison de l'artisanat, art galleries, a small market and the “La Marseillaise” newspaper. Don't hesitate to explore Rue Sainte, which will take you all the way to Saint-Victor Abbey. In this street, you'll also find Marseille's oldest bakery, selling the famous “Navettes”. It's updated nicely and very comfortable. It is decorated well and has everything you need. It is in a great location. you can walk to wherever you need. The subway is a couple minute walk away. There is an amazing Indian restaurant right outside the front door of the building, definitely go there. The only thing that needs help and is nothing that affects the apartment is the building itself. At times when you walk in the building there is a very foul smell of sewage.
