Welcome to Whiskey Hills by Distilled Destinations, our newly remodeled log cabin atop a picturesque mountain in Mars Hill, North Carolina, just a short drive north of vibrant Asheville. 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, sleeps 10 guests comfortably. Located at the top of the mountain for the new Hatley Pointe Ski Resort, a boutique ski resort that just opened! Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee or stargazing under the clear night sky, the scenery from Whiskey Hills is going to leave you refreshed and happy! We've paid attention to every detail when remodeling and furnishing this special home. Beautiful art, comfortable furniture, mattresses and beds are just the beginning. How wonderful to be able to walk over and ski down to the lifts at Hatley Pointe! • 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms • Bedroom 1: King bed and en-suite bathroom • Bedroom 2: King bed, desk area and bathroom right next door • Bedroom 3: Two Full sized (double) beds and bathroom right next door, shared with bathroom 2. • Bedroom 4: King bed and bathroom right next door, not shared with another bedroom. • There’s an additional half bath and mudroom by the front entrance. • Just completely remodeled with new appliances, fresh paint, refinished floors, all new lighting, all new fixtures, sinks and countertops, all new furniture, new luxury mattresses, bedding, and so much more. • Kitchen features cafe appliances with a double oven for convenient cooking - you could host a family holiday here! • All beds are equipped with new luxury mattresses and Parachute bedding and pillows for a high end comfortable stay. • Thoughtfully curated original art throughout the property. • Fully Stocked Kitchen with everything you could need • Huge outdoor deck on the main level with outdoor dining, lounging, and a big and new gas grill as well. • Another deck off the game room downstairs with a hot tub! The cabin is close to the Appalachian Trail, with so much great hiking nearby! It’s a biking paradise as well with windy mountain trails. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! It’s also very close to Asheville for a vibrant city scene. Asheville has great food, a wonderful brewery scene, wineries, entertainment - you name it! There’s no wonder this is one of the fastest growing areas in the US. The entire home is yours to enjoy, and you’ll self check in with a convenient code for the front door. There is parking right outside the front of the house, with space for 4 vehicles. We’re just a short 35 minute drive from Asheville - your perfect mountain getaway! Please note that we’re on top of a mountain, which brings with it steep mountain roads. My boys enjoyed each having an entire floor to themselves too! The kitchen is well stocked and has ample dinnerware, glasses & utensils. We cooked several meals as the ski resort was closed for the season. The nearest restaurants are 20-30 minutes away - that was really the only drawback to the location in off ski season. The Ingles Grocery in Mars Hill is huge & has everything you could possibly need for food & drinks. We enjoyed the hot tub & walking to top of mountain at night to stargaze - we saw the Milky Way bands! We drove to Hot Springs & hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail, spent a day at Biltmore Estate and a day in Asheville. The LaZoom history/comedy bus tour was a ton on fun. Sandy is an excellent host & paid attention to so many details that make this cabin unique. We would definitely stay here again during ski season or one of her other properties. ##### Victoria T.
