Wake up to views of Lake Superior across the street (no lake/beach access) and start your day on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking, walking, hiking, and snowmobiling. The trail can be accessed on foot through the backyard, and snowmobiles can access it about 30 seconds down the street. The location was great, the rooms and beds were comfortable, and the owner and property manager were really responsive and helpful when little things came up. We loved the immediate access to the Iron Ore Trail - don't miss the rope swing into the chilly Chacalay River! I think the house would be perfect for any group for a long weekend. But families should read the listing more closely than I did. The lack of on-site laundry made this a less-than-ideal fit for our family with small children staying for a week, as did the lack of dressers in the upstairs bedrooms and the somewhat under-supplied kitchen.
