Experience the beauty of sprawling Lake Superior views from this property and trips to the pristine sand beach on Lake Superior are steps away. The property features a fire pit for roasting marshmallows or gathering with friends and family for an evening around the campfire. Nearby activities include hiking at one of many hiking trails, fishing, mountain biking, golfing, and kayaking. Several breweries and great restaurants are available in nearby Marquette. The home is a 2 bedroom 1 ½ bath with a large 2 car detached garage. The main floor includes a family room, kitchen, full bath, and guest room with stackable washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with the essentials for serving or making meals and a charcoal grill is available outside on the deck. The upstairs suite includes a sitting room that provides the perfect place to relax or read a good book with views of Lake Superior. Other travelers will sleep comfortably in the second bedroom that offers a queen bed or the twin bed available in a separate room in the upstairs suite. This property can be enjoyed during all 4 seasons of the year with each season offering different activities and scenic day trips throughout this beautiful area of the Upper Peninsula. It is like having a camp in the woods with a beautiful Lake Superior beach in the back yard! All the comforts of home with the tranquility of being on vacation. Please note the following: Accessing the beach does require walking up and down the sand dune since stairs cannot be built on the dune. This is not an issue for most guests, but anyone with mobility issues should consider this before booking. The upstairs suite includes 2 rooms, 2 beds, and a half bath. It was a very cozy fall retreat just steps away from a beautiful Great Lake beach. Kitchen was fully equipped with all the comforts of home and the bed was comfortable. The heating system (and wood burning stove) worked perfectly. Our only note was that navigating back to the house after dark was a little challenging - the driveway is not very remarkable and located on a road with a fast speed limit, so it's easy to miss. ##### Trent F. Very clean with what we needed. You will need to bring your own coffee and charcoal if you want to grill, there was plenty of starter fluid. The upstairs suite was really special with a nice view on the balcony where two nights in a row we were treated with the Northern Lights Aroura, (which I'm an amateur at taking pictures of).The beach was amazing! We had to contact our local contact and she answered immediately and was very helpful. Perfectly located to so many fun things to do. We had fun with friends at the Marquette Escape Room and went to see the MI Sled Dogs on the way back from the TQ falls. The amenities were just right for our stay for NMU graduation and weekend in the UP. We loved having access to Lake Superior, we had a fire outside one night in the bonfire pit, and cooked a few meals at "home". Nice space, easy location and great owner communication ##### Laurel G. We loved the beach, and the private peaceful experience. The cabin was in great shape, and gave us everything that we needed.
