My daughter and I stayed in the Holiday Inn Dallas Market Center for 3 days and 2 nights. The hotel was mostly clean, the walls in the bathroom could have been washed. There was also a vent in the hallway that fell and sheet rock was in the floor. The bed was firm. The pillows were very comfortable. The worst part is the room would not cool off well. The thermostat was turned downed and it was stuffy. The front desk did give me a fan.
For many retail buyers, “going to market” means one thing: seeing the latest consumer goods at the Dallas Market Center. The world’s largest wholesale mart hosts more than 50 trade shows each year for retail professionals. The products on display here appear on store shelves in a season or two. The center’s neighbor, the UT Southwestern Medical Center, is deemed among the nation’s top hospitals.
