Watch the deer come in to feed in the morning and evening. Our cottage is secluded for privacy and an optimum mountain get-a-way experience. We also have many other animals for you to enjoy, including miniature donkeys, emus, turtles, sheep and water buffalo. We can give you a tour of the area and of all our animals, or you can have your privacy and enjoy the beauty around you, whichever you prefer. The pictures don't do it justice. The coolest rental. When I wasn't spending my time wandering around Yosemite or the Sierra National Forest I spent my time wandering around the beautiful property grounds. I sat in random places and got to know the animals. This rental was the best. So peaceful yet so fulfilling. I don't often return to places, but I really hope to come back. I will stay again in a heartbeat. Super clean, very spacious and you get to borrow not just this hidden gem, but their furry family also! Don't hesitate to book this rental. We stayed with 3 generations: my parents, my partner and I, and our 2 year old twins. The house itself was clean and well-equipped, and the hosts were so lovely and communication was top notch. We were given a tour of the property and all of the host's animals on the day we arrived, and we had lovely visitors of a cat, donkeys, goat, sheep, and dogs every day (which my 2 year old twins absolutely loved!) It was a great location from which to explore Yosemite - we did Mariposa Grove and swimming nearby, followed by Tunnel View and Bridalveil falls the following day, both 1-1.5 hours away. The hosts were very responsive to any questions, and the rural location was quiet and private. We should have read the listing better. After we got over that the stay was just fine. For us, we wanted to be close to Yosemite, but not in the park. It was a decent location for that. Once inside the house the accommodations fit our family with room to spare. Communication with the owners were good and responsive. We noticed a cleanliness issue upon arrival. As others had mentioned, we were met with a group of goats and donkeys and our boys (age 11 and 6) just lit up. They absolutely fell in love with the cats too. It was fun walking the property with my boys before heading off to bed. The hosts here are amazing and were so gracious and helpful during our stay. This place had everything we needed and more. The only complaint is we didn't have enough time! We visited Yosemite but stopped to see Bass Lake on our way home and now I wish we could have stayed one more night to spend time there too. The animals on the property were an absolute treat, so friendly and calm. We were greeted by a little goat welcoming party as soon as we opened the car door XD and the sweetest cats and donkeys followed us everywhere we went on the property. Would highly recommend if you want a nice, peaceful stay and like animals. ##### Denise S. We loved our stay in this cottage. Not that far from Yosemite and loved the animals in the property. Wade was kind enough to give us a tour of the property and the surrounding area.
