Staff was friendly room was nice. The AC was very loud and seemed like it would turn on every 5 mins a d run for a minute. Shower was very disappointing the head was plugged could only use the one setting without water spraying everywhere. Was there 3 nights water would get warm but not hot. On the sunday there was no hot water at all.

The property needs some updating. Furnishings in the room seemed worn. No information booklet in the room about restaurants, tv guide, shopping or churches. Some of the Furnishings in the room had patches on them and in the lobby.

We loved the decorated lobby/breakfast room, it was a Christmas wonderland. Super nice staff, especially for Christmas Eve day. Very nice hotel. It was older, and the TV in the living room area did not work.

The hotel was fine, but the breakfast was not as good as usual. Coffee was weak and luke warm. The dispenser ran out and was not replenished promptly.

Convince of easy access to interstate. Stayed there 6 months ago and was very pleased. This time the facility was showing signs of deterioration the rugs showed signs of wear and fraying. This was in the lobby and 3rd floor hallway. The grout on the bathroom was molded needs to cleaned. Probably won’t be back will look for a replacement stay at…

Ice bucket had black mold in it, bathroom floor and countertop was sticky, hand towel had a blood spot on it , wash cloth hanging on top on hand towel had long black hair and hair dryer intake screen was covered with lint and dust. I showed the front desk clerk pictures that I took.

This was a second stay at this hotel for me and my husband. It was an overnight stay for another visit to the Barter Theater. Again we were happy with our stay. Our check in was fast. Brandon at the front desk was very pleasant and very efficient. As some of the other reviews mentioned, the hotel decor is a little outdated. However, the hotel including our room was very clean and comfortable.It was also quiet. The breakfast was fantastic. Biscuits, eggs, bacon, grits, gravy, fried potatoes, waffles, and all the typical juices, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc. The coffee was also really good. This hotel was a great value. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Abingdon.

This is an ok place for an overnight. The bed is comfortable but the rooms need updating . There is dirt in every corner and a group of half dead plants in the dining room need to be removed. Other then coffee, it certainly is far from the hot breakfast they advertise. Packaged muffins are the highlight . The staff iis pleasent, with limited helpful information

The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. Clean room and a good breakfast. The parking lot was a bit confusing at first. Overall it was a great stay.

Property seemed like it was recently updated with some ongoing minor improvements. We enjoyed a quiet and comfortable night. We were disappointed to not have guest laundry on-site.

We were in town to see a play at the Barter Theatre. This was about a 10 minute drive away. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Lots of hot and cold choices. Next time we are in town, we will stay here again.

When we checked into our room someone had clogged the toilet and there was still bodily products on the toilet paper. There were stains on the shower curtain and some other areas in the room (inside shower, rug, comforter, etc). Their saving grace was how easily they checked us into another room. It was still not what I would hope a room to be in terms of cleanliness, but it was sufficient considering it was late at night and we had no other option.
