Almost 1,000 feet of lake frontage! Use of 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards included. Accommodates 25+. 5500 square feet; 3 separate levels with additional kitchenette in walkout basement. 3 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, pool table, sauna and two treadmills. Almost every window has lake views. Multiple fountains and water features on the 2 acre property. Gazebo, separate screened in room with and beautiful stone patio with outdoor fire pit. Multiple outdoor seating areas with benches and walking paths. Room for a rental boat and jet skis or bring your own; 2 slips available. Large covered dock has swim platform with water 10+ feet deep. Fishing from shore and dock; deep water off peninsula. Wi-Fi and Sonos sound system throughout house. Propane Grill & 36" Propane Griddle. SLEEPING: There is ample space throughout the house for cribs, pallets, sleeping bags and twin mattresses to be put on floor. Let us know if you have questions about sleeping accommodations. As is, we can sleep 28, including 3 twin (floor) mattresses we provide and couch/sectional sleeping surfaces (PLEASE SEE AMENITIES SECTION FOR BEDROOM / SLEEPING DETAILS). Bring your own beach towels and other toiletries. We provide 4-5 sets of bath towels and wash cloths in each of the 4 full bathrooms (16-20 wash cloths and bath towels; we'll provide more for larger groups). We also provide toilet paper, liquid hand soap, dish soap and other cleaning supplies. The owner's parents will likely stay in the cottage or nearby during your visit and be there to assist you. Kitchen is fully stocked: utensils, coffee maker (including Keurig coffee maker), pots, pans, spices, etc. In addition to traditional couches, chairs, etc., we can provide 3 portable tables with 24 chairs so that you may set up your dinners and guest seating arrangements inside or outside, however you desire. Our family rooms are large and can accommodate 10-15 adults without these tables. However, we feel the additional tables and chairs will make your stay more pleasurable. LAKE OF EGYPT: 2,300 acres. It is approximately 52 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Carp, Channel Catfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Crappie and Yellow Bullhead. Nearby Hiking and Sightseeing: WINERIES: Multiple scenic wineries nestled in the hills 15+ miles away. Many have live music on the weekends. This house was amazing for our wedding party to stay in for the weekend. The property has breathtaking views, many of our wedding photos occurred here. For our Christmas in July celebration with our 5 sons and their family, we rented Todd’s place and it could not have been more perfect!! Very well equipped and spacious, there was room for everyone to sleep and PLENTY of room indoors to relax and not be on top of each other (there were 24 of us). You couple an amazing house with an incredible lake lot, you can’t help but have a wonderful time. All of our kids left with such great memories and for that we are grateful. The property and home were clean and beautiful and Todd was extremely helpful and prompt in answering our questions. We all enjoyed boating and swimming and spending time on the dock. Our grandchildren also performed their own personal theater production amongst the "waterfalls" and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and the fire pit talks. The lights on house and gazebo were the perfect backdrop for our group. It is incredible to be able to see the water from almost every room in the house. We had 8 couples in this house for a long weekend. We did draw straws for bedrooms - hard to find an 8 bedroom rental. Everything was perfect. Had all the kitchen items we needed to cook, prepare and serve this group. So much inside and outdoor space. We brought 2 fishing boats and they even had covered dock stalls. A perfect location to trails, wineries, restaurants. Egypt Lake is beautiful and the house is right on peninsula- almost all windows are views to the water. Todd was the most responsive host I have encountered and truly appreciate his time with all my inquiries. Best Friends for Life unanimously agreed to return. ##### Elizabeth F. The opportunity to do water sports, such as kayaking, paddle boarding, or just enjoying the lake on the dock, was great! Having the option to rent, the pontoon boat was also very enjoyable for our family. Paradise on the peninsula was cozy, and we loved the 3-season room. The extra outdoor amenities such as the screened porch and fire pit were lovely! We would definitely recommend this home to any large family as it slept many people. Lake of Egypt was a very clean and lovely lake. Our family is hoping to come back again one day. ##### Rolland D. Plenty of room to branch out. Access to the water is close to the house. The swim dock was awesome. Great for swimming, paddleboard or kayak races and lounging. Plenty of shoreline available to fish. The screened in porch was an added bonus as a hangout location for the teenagers and nightly fires at the fire pit were a great way to end the day. Firepit was well stocked. Kitchen had everything you could need and more. Jim and Georgia were super friendly. Highly recommend! ##### Emily B.
