Enjoy a luxurious mountain stay in this log cabin on 9.76 pristine acres. This 4600-square-foot home boasts spectacular long-range, panoramic, layered views of the NC High Country. A wonderful place to gather with friends and family, this home offers 8 sleeping areas and 4.5 baths and accommodates 20 guests.  
\*This home is dog-friendly with additional pet fees required.  
\*This is a private neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. This neighborhood has a no-party policy.  
  
This property has 7 sleeping areas in the main house, plus 1 in the studio apartment above the garage. There are three kitchens to satisfy the needs of your party, plus a recently completed outdoor grilling shed. Enjoy the many custom touches throughout the house using live edge counters, reclaimed barn wood, and accent lighting. The house has a hot tub with an outdoor shower, a pool table, an air hockey table, a ping pong table, an arcade system, an indoor basketball game, a Cornhole set, a Giant Jenga game, a Spikeball set, and an outdoor basketball goal for entertainment and leisure time.  
  
There is ample dining space both indoors and outdoors. If grilling is more your style, enjoy cooking steaks on the outdoor grills while watching sunsets and gathering around the outdoor fire pit. Many updates to the grounds, decks, porches, and patios provide even more areas to relax and enjoy.  
  
This home has an elliptical Bowflex M7 Max Trainer and a fitness rig for pullups and dips in the garage. Dumbell sets, bands, and TRX straps are available. The workout area has mirrors and expanded rubber flooring.  
  
Rest at Mountain Crest is located in a beautiful rural area that offers visitors a wide range of outdoor activities and attractions. Some of the best things to do near this address include:  
  
Pisgah National Forest: This is an incredibly scenic and popular national forest that offers hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities. It's only 14 miles away.  
Linville Caverns: This unique attraction is a series of underground caverns filled with fascinating geological formations about 30 miles away.  
Lake James State Park is great for swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking. It's only 12 miles away.  
Catawba Falls: This beautiful waterfall in Pisgah National Forest is great for hiking and picnicking. It's about 12 miles away.  
Mount Mitchell State Park: This park is home to the highest peak east of the Mississippi River and offers stunning views and hiking opportunities. It is located about 40 miles away.  
Grandfather Mountain, with its famous Mile-High Swinging Bridge and profile hiking trails, offers beautiful views and hiking opportunities about 45 minutes away near Linville, NC.  
The Biltmore Estate, a Châteauesque-style mansion built for George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895, is about 36 miles away near Asheville. A prominent example of Gilded Age mansions, it receives 1.4 million visitors a year to view the gardens and grounds and tour the estate itself.
