The hosts are gracious and welcoming. If you are a freighter maven like my husband and I, this is the place to be. It's right on the St. Clair River, and you can watch the freighters go by day and night. Every room is decorated with such care to the traveler --there is a touch of home with plenty of places to put your own things. The beds we're incredibly comfortable, and the view was unbelievable. There were little spaces throughout the property to sit, relax, and to take a moment to just breathe. Watching the freighters float by was magic.
