It sleeps 8, but the dining table only seats 6, only 6 napkins. There were only 2 kitchen towels and no cloth or sponge to wipe down counters and stove. There was a broom but no dustpan. There were plenty of pots and skillets for stovetop cooking, but no casserole dishes/ roasting pans/ etc. for oven cooking of foods like lasagna or enchiladas. We had to purchase dishwasher pods, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper (there was a little of each of these items, but not enough).The bizarre: The welcome snacks included an open, half-empty bottle of wine. No wine would have been fine, but a half-consumed bottle???I wavered between ranking the property at 3 or 4 stars. It was clean and convenient, so I went with the higher score. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and felt incredibly comfortable and inviting from the moment I walked in. The location was perfect—just a short 15-minute drive to some of the most scenic spots in the area, including Pebble Beach, the iconic 17-Mile Drive, and charming Carmel-by-the-Sea.The host was fantastic—very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my visit to the Central Coast. Highly recommend! ##### Christine E. The house was super cute, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. You can tell the owners put care into the details—it really felt like a home away from home. We were a group of 6 staying for a week and there were a few things that became irritating for that duration, such as a bedroom door handle that didn't stay on, multiple rooms with window blinds or shades that didn't work, a very small kitchen trash and no extra full size trash bags. I appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages. The kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was very quiet which I appreciated. Location was very close to Marina State Beach not walking distance but a quick drive there. The house was comfortable for all family members. I did send a question regarding the property in May for a booking in July which I didn’t receive a response to until right before our stay. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. ##### Shirley T.
