Plenty of room to spread out in the property including 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, please note that all bedrooms and bathrooms are on the 2nd floor and the master bathroom does not have a shower head. No need for A/C @ Sumner time, for winter's months' central heat will keep you warm and comfortable while watching big-screen television in the family room. The vacation home is situated in Marina (not ocean view or beachfront) just a 20-minute drive Southbound brings you to the historical Monterey Cannery row, Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Pebble Beach, the scenic 17-mile drive, the beautiful city of Carmel with its many specialty shops, restaurants, art galleries, its historical Carmel mission and the famous Carmel beach. Take a short drive to the north to enjoy the city of Santa Cruz with its beach Boardwalk and renovated downtown, the Redwood Forest and state parks. A few more miles to the north to visit the Silicon Valley and then move forward to San Francisco to enjoy all the beauty that this cosmopolitan city has to offer. A vacation you and your family will remember forever. My wife and I along with our 2 young children (ages 3 & 7) and our best couple friends stayed for 3 nights. The kitchen is well equipped. We cooked all our meals in house. We forgot to bring coffee but luckily the hosts provide coffee and a coffee maker. The beds were luxurious. The sheets were super clean and pillow super fluffy. The house is pretty much baby proof. They have tons of games and toys for kids. The also have a well stocked library housed in a separate building. Great home to stay, enough space for my family and had enough stuff in kitchen and bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and quite environment. Spacious enough for people to have some space if they want down time, but also designed for family interaction with a large dining room table and large living room with couches. We left a couple of things behind and got them back. I appreciate the quick communication . The house could have used more towels and hand soap. Especially more toilet paper. The stairs are a bit noisy. Overall, it was a nice stay. Easy access to the beach! Thank you for hosting us. ##### Cynthia R. Everything is clean, no bathroom downstairs and only 1 shower, as they converted half the house to a permanent living on-site residence. Besides that it’s a perfect house that worked for me and our group for a golf trip. Very clean, cable tv to watch all the games and news. Comfy beds, nice relaxing tub in master. ##### Mario L. Séjour de 3 nuits en août 2021 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Kiki H. 7 août 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Management needs to oversee amenities and maintenance Home is roomy and plenty of room for play outside. And outdoor toys and a bonus "she shed" was nice. Downside is that for a home that sleeps ten and you pay extra $40 per night per person over 6 guests (including for kids under 12), you would expect more than 6 sets of towels provided. Kitchen supplies were lacking. It should be clearly noted in description that there is no washer and dryer. For a family staying for 5 nights it becomes a problem. Also, issues with one of the two toilets not flushing waste during our stay, which was an issue with a bigger group. There was an attempt to correct flow, but problem was not resolved. One bedroom had only one working electrical outlet and one lamp for light, and door knob that kept falling off (a potential hazard in an emergency.) There is also a unit attached to the home, so home is not private.
