Schiestlhaus, Hochschwab, Styria, Austria 
Morning view south from Hochschwab summit (alt. 2.227 meters) in the middle of Hochschwab mountain range. It is the most northern part of Alps which rises over 2.000 meters of altitude. There are basically no lifts in the Hochschwab, so you can enjoy it in its natural state. In September the weather is quite stable (although quite windy and freezing in the morning in the top parts) and only few tourists which get such rewarding views for the pain of hiking it by own feet. "The staff was very friendly, even though our room was not ready after 4pm. They then fixed it within 20+ minutes. In Expedia, it is mentioned that the center of town is 3 minutes away by car, but it is more like 10 minutes. And what is called a "mountain view" is a view on the parking lot."

"We enjoyed our short vacation there. There are a lot of hiking trails near by. The room was clean and fairly quite, the pool and steam sauna were nice, the mountains view was gorgeous, breakfast and dinner were delicious. "I originally planned to stay for just one night, but I was so impressed by the exceptional service, prime location, and overall quality of the property that I extended my stay for two additional nights. The property is ideally situated away from the noise and pollution of the city, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. Despite its tranquil setting, it’s conveniently accessible with taxis and buses readily available for transportation. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight of my stay. It featured an all-you-can-eat buffet with a wide variety of delicious options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The quality and presentation were truly outstanding. Additionally, the on-site amenities, including the pool and sauna, provided a luxurious and relaxing experience. Dinner was another standout feature. For just 21 euros per person, the all-you-can-eat buffet offered an unbelievable variety of dishes, all expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. Each evening brought a new selection of culinary delights, showcasing the skill and professionalism of the kitchen staff. Overall, this property offers an unbeatable combination of comfort, convenience, and value.
