Inspired by the architecture of the Mediterranean and located just moments from the iconic Greek Orthodox Church in Prevelly, this stunning home offers a sense of escape and connection in equal measure.  
  
Recognised as part of the Stayz 2025 Holiday Home of the Year collection—an annual showcase of ten standout private holiday homes across Australia—Carpe Mykonos embodies the very best of contemporary coastal luxury and design excellence.  
  
Set on eight private acres shared with the onsite manager’s cottage, Carpe Mykonos is one of three exclusive Carpe Luxury Escapes nestled within 24 acres of native bushland. Alongside its neighbouring retreats, Carpe Vino and Carpe Artes, it forms a private enclave of premium short-stay homes designed for comfort, style, and serenity—ideal for families, couples, or groups travelling together.  
  
Only three minutes from Surfers Point and ten minutes from town, the property is perfectly positioned to explore the region’s beaches, wineries, and natural beauty. Nearby cycle and walkway networks connect you easily to Gnarabup Beach, the beloved White Elephant Café, and The Common Bistro, just two kilometres away.  
  
From its elevated position, Carpe Mykonos looks out across a shared tennis court and pavilion (shared with Carpe Vino) toward the Indian Ocean beyond. Guests are welcome to use the court, with tennis racquets and balls provided.  
  
The property also features a plentiful mini orchard filled with fruit trees, inviting guests to wander and pick seasonal produce during their stay. As evening falls, gather around the outdoor fire pit—a truly magical spot to sit beneath the stars, glass of local wine in hand, as the fire crackles and the night comes alive with the sounds of nature.  
  
Inside, the home is light, open, and beautifully appointed with brand-new furnishings and appliances throughout.

The open-plan living area features a 65-inch TV, slow-combustion wood heater, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and a children’s TV nook in the bunk room. Ceiling fans are fitted throughout.  
  
The fully equipped kitchen includes a large fridge/freezer, oven, electric cooktop, microwave, and coffee machine, along with everything you need for home cooking and baking. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with essentials such as dishwashing liquid, sponges, tea towels, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, plastic wrap, foil, paper towels, and serviettes—everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay.  
  
Enjoy sunset drinks and a barbecue on the expansive deck, surrounded by native birdlife and tranquil bush views.  
  
All linen and towels are supplied and professionally laundered. A washing machine and dryer are also available, complete with detergent and cleaning essentials.  
  
For outdoor enthusiasts, bushwalks begin right at your doorstep, and kangaroos can often be spotted at dawn and dusk. The Margaret River Golf Club is less than a kilometre away, and world-renowned wineries like Cape Mentelle are within easy reach.

#### Great stay - lovely location

Loved our stay here, the upstairs is great for entertaining and the sunsets are magical. We enjoyed BBQs on the verandah and the kids loved the tennis court. Highly recommend this spot for a getaway with friends and family members.

There is a serious ant issue around the property. The advertising doesn’t show that there is a neighbouring property within a few meters. You’re led to believe it’s exclusive but it’s not. Overall nice property with great views. Living area needs a more comfortable and larger couch for the guests it hosts. Tennis court was fun but is shared between neighbouring properties which again you don’t find out until after booking.

#### Perfect, fun nature hideaway

It was the playful holiday we were looking for, cosy in the winter with log fires. The sounds of the ocean and forrest, … so refreshing to be nestled in the south west, but be connected with Greece, it’s beauty of citrus orchard, colourful garden and design. Superb meals shared with an exceptional kitchen and dinning experience. Just loved our time together here.

#### Absolutely Stunning Property

Carpe Mykonos was the perfect place for our group to stay and we were incredibly satisfied with our visit. It was super clean, super spacious, and only a 10 minute drive from town which is super handy. The property was gorgeous and both Carolyn and Matt were more than helpful, we would highly recommend staying here!

This property is exactly how it looks in the pictures. It was absolutely stunning, peaceful and had everything we needed to have a nice weekend away down south. The hosts were kind and very responsive. We will definitely stay again.
