"We really enjoyed this hotel. It was an easy walk to many restaurants, chateaus and the Sunday Market along the river. Coming back from our outings felt like coming home to our own mini chateau. The room was very large and comfortable. The toilet was a long distance from the separate sink/shower but we found this to be the case in a few of the hotels we stayed at in France outside of Paris. There was no curtain on the bathroom window which made me a little uncomfortable, but that’s just me. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only negative was that we decided to splurge and spend 40 euros to have our laundry done rather than waste a vacation day at a laundromat. They were nice enough to do it on a Sunday too! But, all of my husbands shirts and jeans came back very very wrinkled. Some were so bad, he couldn’t wear them again on the trip. That was the only disappointment. We didn’t complain, so it’s possible they would redone it for us. Overall, I recommend a stay here!"

"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we stepped foot on the property we had attentive, professional service from every single staff member. The property itself is breathtaking with open areas of nothing but wildflowers. The restaurant is fantastic, every option on the menu is delicious, and again excellent service. The breakfast buffet is amazing and worth leaving your room for. The room itself is the most calming space I have ever been in. I slept more than I have slept in years. I was able to get a deep sleep and the beds were perfect. Our room opened out to a vacant field area and it was so quiet I could just sit and watch the sunset. The spa was wonderful as well. I plan to go back to utilize more services there. We booked the spa a bit too late and the appointments had been taken already. But I am happy to have a reason to return. They have numerous bikes that are complementary that you can use to bike into town and see the Chateau. The ride is easy. I was the most relaxed I have ever been, even my husband noticed. I was so checked out that I even forgot my passport at the hotel and had to come back. Of course, the amazing staff had located it and had it ready at the front desk. Great job to everyone who works there! We LOVED our stay. The property is gorgeous and I will go out of my way to return."
