We made the short walk to South beach each morning to search for shells and then spent the warmer afternoons in the heated pool. We walked back to the beach each evening to watch the spectacular sunsets.This house is one of the best equipped places we have stayed at, I would definitely stay there again. Drew was very easy to communicate with. House was exactly as described. Lots of great extras in the garage including cruiser bikes, beach chairs, a beach wagon/cart and toys. Definitely not an upscale home as finishing touches are just not there (mismatched plates, trim missing, refrigerator too big for the cabinet it's in so it sticks into the kitchen) BUT it was perfectly clean, comfortable, and the host was fabulous. You will want for nothing at this home. We would stay here again without hesitation. The permanent resident neighbors were very friendly and welcoming as well. Thanks for a great stay. The cleaning crew which cleaned the place before we came was new and left dirty disheds in the dishwasher and damp towels we had to dry. Guests are expected to wash linens before checking out. I'm still trying to figure out why we had to pay a cleaning fee. The owner did say it was a new service and he did contact them about our complaints. Be aware that Marco Island is anti-rental so we were asked to be quiet after 8 pm because the neighbors would be scrutinizing us. While we were a group of seniors in town to celebrate a wedding and no partiers by any means, we did feel like we had to walk on eggshells. The house was spacious and the pool are was very nice. There were bikes available for use in the garage and the beach was within bike or walking distance. The owner checked in on us a couple times via the VRBO app to make sure we had everything we needed I would highly recommend this property. ##### Haley H. The beach, restaurants, quiet neighborhood all in one package. Checkin and check out were a breeze. House had bikes and beach gear and beach towels, no need to bring anything. Washer and Dryer makes it easier to pack light. Neighborhood is quiet and very short walking distance from public beach access, great restaurants and convenience store.
