The living room and dining room were cozy and nice. Location was good for us, because our boat was docked right down the road. We thought the kitchen could use more cupboards and counterspace. Ther was no toaster, and the fridge froze some of our food (Freezer also had ice build- up at the bottom). For people our age (70), the bathroom was not easy to maneuver in (quite small), and it would be nice to just have a shower, not a tub you have to step into. Both bedrooms were upstairs, so you have to go down the stairs to use the bathroom. Stairs are quite narrow and noisy. Bedrooms were fine, with overhead fans and little road noise even though the house is right by a busy road. It would be nice if both bedrooms had empty dressers to use. We would have liked to be able to use the screened windows on the front porch, but windows were sealed shut. For younger people, this place would be fine, I think. But it could be a little more user-friendly with the kitchen and bathroom. We managed to enjoy ourselves despite these things, but I would caution older people to beware of the layout. ##### Gay H. The AC units in the house wouldn’t hold a set temp for cooling which didn’t work for my daughters health conditions The stairway lightbulb was burned out so the staircase was pitch black. The property was just as listed. Clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable! It was perfect for our adult children during a family vacation. We had an issue with the door lock and the owner was very responsive and collaborative on a solution! The property manager was easy to contact. Fantastic location. Even had the fridge stocked with water bottles due to a boil advisory the day before.It is not located within the gates of Lakeside, but close to all of the local amenities.
