Stunning Lakehouse on three lots. Huge yard and Patio Deck This newly remodeled and delightfully furnished lake house is nestled in a very peaceful setting with approx 150 ft of waterfront. THIS is the place for winter snowbirds and/or lake enthusiast. Spacious 3 bedroom home with approx 2112 sq ft. Total beds sleep 7with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 3 twins . There are beautiful lake views from every room. Large deck off entire back of home and extra large windows to take it all in. Home sits on three lots making this the place for your family and friends to gather, spread out and enjoy each other and the lake. We are pet friendly and have a fully fenced yard (except at the waters edge). Bring the boat and trailer. Boat parking along side of bulkhead with multiple tie ups in quiet no wake cove right out your back door-public park with boat ramp steps away from home for additional options to lake access. Great opportunity to be right on the coveted and controlled level Lake LBJ. The lake is a long and pretty lake with many coves to explore. From the lake house you can boat East to the Wirtz Dam, or South to Horseshoe Bay, or go North to Kingsland then go West and explore the Llano River. If you do not have a boat or personal watercraft, you can rent one locally. The quaint town of Marble Falls is ten minutes away, with shopping, movies, restaurants, spas, gym, HEB (grocery), Wal-Mart, and many more amenities to take advantage of. Carol also made sure we had a smooth entry and exit of the property with our two-month winter getaway. If another winter getaway happens in 2025, I would highly consider the TX. This house was perfect! Huge living room, dining room and kitchen where we were about 80% of the time. Carol has the kitchen very nicely stocked! We did not need a thing! The outside was nice. The water was perfect for floating around and keeping cool on a really hot day! There was plenty of shade for those that did not get in but wanted to be by the water. If you’re looking for that perfect lake trip, A Touch of Texas is where you want to be. The house is amazing! Whether you’re on the lake all day enjoying the refreshing water, fishing from the back yard, or exploring the beautiful Marble Falls area, Carol considered everything you’d need. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are amazingly comfy. She even has a stash of linens, bowls and toys for your fur-baby. The huge backyard is probably our favorite spot to hang out. We set up a volleyball net and played for hours with our kids, and in the evenings, enjoyed sitting on the large deck playing music and games late into the night. Carol has hosted us for two summers now and because of her thoughtful touches to make this home feel like our home, I will never have to search any further for a lake house on LBJ. The deck and backyard were perfect, and I especially appreciated the fully fenced yard for our dogs. The location is a bit off the lake, and if you don't bring your own boat or rent something, you're not going to swim in the shallow cove water. The public boat ramp and park are a stone's throw across the water, and are rather active. Makes for good people watching, but not quite as peaceful as you may expect. From the local activity, seems like good fishing right off the dock! That said, we really enjoyed our stay, and the host was great. Two couples and 3 kids is perfect. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We don’t usually cook when stay in a short term rental, but it appeared to be fully stocked. The yard was manicured and fully fenced for our labradoodle to run around. For boaters. There is a concrete break wall with two cleats. The channel is very shallow and we have a wake boat and we did touch bottom with the prop. It is very soft so no damage but it is shallow. Sand and silt so no issue. If you have a pontoon or something else with an outboard you can trim up you won’t have issue. Our issue is we draft a couple feet and the Chanel is only 2 feet in some areas. The furniture and bedding was very clean and you can tell Carol takes care of her rental. We will most definitely be back. ##### Andrew J. But, the house is not exactly on the lake. It is on a canal that feeds into the lake and the backyard faces a parking lot and public boat ramp. It was pretty quiet all weekend and there weren't too many cars there, so it was ok. The yard is fenced and they allow pets, so we enjoyed being able to bring our dogs. The cooking supplies need to be updated. The pots and pans are very cheap and the knives were all totally dull. It made preparing food for our large group difficult. Also, there is only soap in the bathrooms and nothing else. I've never stayed at an AirBnb that didn't have shampoo. Even the cheapest motels have shampoo. Also, the outside of the house was very dirty. There were cobwebs everywhere and all of the patio furniture was filthy. My husband spent 30 minutes after we arrived sweeping and dusting everything off before his elderly parents arrived. I can only speak for the beds we slept on, but the mattresses were comfortable and the bedding was nice. We dined out some, but prepared most of our meals at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to do so. We particularly enjoyed time spent out on the deck, even in the heat of the day, thanks to the shade trees in the back.No one enjoyed themselves more than our dog.
