Now, more than 100 years later, it is a beautiful little hacienda, complete with a casita at the rear of the property that can accommodate additional guests. Located at the foot of Big Bend National Park and just a few blocks from the world-famous Gage Hotel, this property is a stunner. With custom woodwork throughout, this delicately-appointed 950-square-foot home sits on a corner lot and offers a beautiful enclosed private patio/courtyard for privacy. We spent a majority of our time exploring big bend and the surrounding areas. It was nice to be able to come back and enjoy a nice fireplace in the courtyard every night. The beds in the bedrooms were just right. My communication with our host was top-notch, and any questions I had were immediately answered. This was our first VRBO and I hope they are all like this. Couldn’t have really asked for anything else in this property. The town of marathon itself is really small and limited in services provided.
