There is a mix of families coming is in their beautiful yachts to use the Marina and families coming by land to stay in the homes. I loved how every home was a little but unique. Fun to walk the docks. My kids loved using the provided fish food at the end of the pier to feed the school of large parrot fish. We were disappointed that the kayaks and SUPs never seemed to be available because it was too windy but once I called and was told there was too much sea weed. We were there on a very windy week though. Marathon was a good midpoint to explore the keys. We went to Key West, key Largo and Everglades NP days trips. Having Publix supermarket close by was very convenient. My family also enjoyed the Turtle Hospital and Crane Point Hammock Park which are both very close to resort. The pool, clubhouse and marina offer everything you want from a vacation in the Keys. Several great restaurants within walking distance too. The staff is attentive and personable.
