With beautiful views of the gulf, a brand new pool, and a newly remodeled interior, this open and spacious two-bedroom home is located on a deepwater canal that can accommodate large boats, making it the perfect place to stage a fun-filled vacation with family and friends. Head down to the private dock and untie the boats to take the family out for a day on the water then come home to fire up the private gas grill for a fun-filled barbecue. You'll love spreading out in the living room to watch a good movie on the flatscreen TV while snuggling up on the comfy furniture. The full kitchen includes all the appliances and counter space you'll need to prepare delicious meals, plus a stacked washer and dryer in case the kids pick up any stains. You can serve six guests on the glass-top dining table and there's nothing like an al-fresco meal out on the balcony. You can take the provided beach towels out to Sunset Park for your afternoons on the sand, and the private pool is a great place to relax whenever you want a break from all the fun. Have a little work to do while you're here? You'll find a work desk and chair and the home's fast WiFi will make it easy to perform a bit of online research for those last-minute projects. Apr 17, 2024 #### Family of 4 This property is a VRBO listing but ran by VACASA rental company so therefore it lacks the personal touches ran by an owner that is close by or that you can contact personally. The kitchen has very minimal pots and pans/ utensils to cook. If you are cooking be sure to bring everything you need! All previous rentals we have had in the Keys and elsewhere in the US have had multiple spices, cooking spray, coffee, ect. This property doesn't provide anything but the BARE minimum! This is a split unit property but the neighbors seemed nice and were quiet. There are only 4 large bath towels so be prepared to do a load of laundry while your there. The pool is a small plunge pool but it is nice and clean. The dock area was good. Location is good by land and boat. The mattress in the master bedroom is less than comfortable! You literally can feel the springs in it. We had a good vacation in Marathon but with a little TLC and some personal thought, this property could be jam up. Unfortunately, there was construction rehabbing the house next door going on every single day that we were there from 8-5 and sometimes later. Saws, hammers, wood being hauled, yelling, trucks coming and going. We were uncomfortable using the pool and back area until after they had left at night. We contacted VACASA and they offered us a free lunch. They had no other properties available and would not give us a refund. Traveling from Minnesota for peace and relaxation was a total failure. In the past, when renting from another organization, when there was construction going on like this, the owners contacted us ahead of time and gave us the option to cancel. Attempted new code within 5 min of notifications and still would not open. Immediately replied w no response. Spent the night in our car. Mid next day before I received a reply two more codes before access. Dining ware required washing before use ( not just one or a missed item). All household items very basic/ cheap. Mattresses poor quality. Many bug bites inside the house washed all linen On day two. First VRBO I felt the property was own or managed for rental use only, not an owner occupying place (my presumption) also first poor review I have ever left ##### Eric L. Beautiful views from the front and back decks. It was peaceful and private. The pool and lounge chairs on the canal were great for dunning and watching the sea turtles and manatee that visited us. My boys loved fishing off the dock and cooling off in the pool after. The property is small but makes great use of the space. It’s well stocked. There was no fish cleaning table but one was delivered the day we were checking out and you will need to bring a long extension cord to charge batteries as there is not an outlet real close.
