One of five cottages with shared access to 150' of water frontage, tennis court, basketball court, and row boats. Gather around the shared fire pit for s'mores and sunsets overlooking Alligator Hill in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. The cabin is one level, faces west, at the end of a quiet street, and sleeps four. It can be reserved for weeks only during the summer season. There is one queen and two twins. The full kitchen (no dishwasher) has a charcoal grill and a picnic table. There is also WIFI. There is no TV or phone, so there are no worries at this peaceful location, only minutes from the village of Glen Arbor. Quick drives to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, shopping, dining, kayaking, hiking, and more. Big Glen Lake is great for kids. Crystal clean water and no severe drop-offs. Boating, fishing, and swimming--enjoy them all! No air conditioning. No smoking. No pets. \-- THE PROPERTY -- Sleeps 4. The kids enjoy time on boats on both lakes, we love our morning lakeside coffee and evening sunset drinks by the shore... Add a cozy campfire, star-gazing and the soft sound of the waves at night. A great location and a perfect base for adventures around the area, too!We appreciated the well-kept condition of the cottage-- stocked with plates, flatware and supplies as described. Towels were fresh, bathrooms spotless, fridge and kitchen clean as well-- and ice was made! All appliances functioned well-- including the newer gas range and the heating unit (we did have one chilly night, appreciated the extra blankets too!). I think this size cottage is better suited for one or two people but you could certainly fit three or four if you really like each other! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I recently stayed in one of the cabins on Brookhaven and were super impressed with it. Everything was clean when we arrived and the cabin had everything we needed to make some really nice meals. We didn't have to haul our kayaks with us and enjoyed fishing and exploring and fishing on the water with some kayaks available to everyone. Our family has been coming here over a decade-- a great growing-up experience for our kids! Each remembers their first kayaking trips, paddling into Brooks Lake to see the herons, otters, and turtles, the bonfires, making s'mores and chatting with other families, the stars-- and Northern Lights over the lake at night. We love all there is for us to do and what a lovely place to just not do anything this is.
