Not bright, clean and well arranged. Windows were dirty. The entry keylock was extremely difficult, the house smelled like mold, living room had way too much furniture. Small TV stuffed in the corner. Master room bedspread was stained, chairs had stuffing coming out 2nd room upstairs looked like urine stains in the chairs, windows were dirty. We we left 15 minutes after arriving. Host said she would give us a full refund. I wish I would have taken photos before I ran out of there. ##### Arlene R. The house is cozy and comfortable, the backyard is wonderful for a dog and s'mores after dinner, the beach is one(!) block away, and Manzanita's main street is a three minute stroll. This house is ideally located a block from Laneda Ave and the beach. If you have pups, they will love the large yard. The property has the potential to be a great rental, but everything is old as you will see in the listing pics. It’s fine that everything is vintage, but the main bedroom mattress is well beyond its useful life and all chairs and loveseats are worn out. The rental agency was very helpful and responsive and will hopefully make necessary repairs to the plumbing and dishwasher. ##### Mike O. Steps to the beach and equally short distance to restaurants and shops in downtown Manzanita. The neighborhood was quiet and the fenced yard a bonus for our dog. We really enjoyed the big wood fireplace and the separate areas to gather. The dining table was lovely for meals and puzzles. The kitchen was missing a few items, enough flatware, coffee grinder and garbage bags. The vacuum didn’t seem to work. Overall a very cozy and enjoyable spot. ##### Nancy S.
