"If you're looking for a quiet, quaint place to stay with amazing customer service, this is the place for you! We spent 4 nights at Gaia and thoroughly enjoyed our room and the staff. We booked a jungle view room and it was exactly what we expected ..clean, quiet and great AC. The next morning, Boris, the owner approached us at breakfast and informed us that he wanted to move us. He moved us to an amazing suite with a rooftop deck overlooking the ocean! Totally unexpected but appreciated! Carlos helped us get to know the place and helped us line up transportation to Tamarindo at the end of our trip and Jimmy made sure we were always fed and had our beverages whether it was morning coffee or evening cocktails. We enjoyed the vegan breakfast each morning as well as a couple of options for dinner. The view of the macaws each evening topped off the view The hotel provided us with transportation to the beach as well as set us up with a trip to the park. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we would do it again! Special thanks to the gentleman who came and saved us from our unexpected guest as well as our pool side bartender who we watched the monkeys with. Apologies for not knowing your names."

"We stayed here for 4 nights and we saw more mammals and birds than the Manual Antonio NP tour. The howler monkeys were outside of our room. Everyone shared the locations of the sloths on site every day. Lots of birds. Beautiful pools to cool off. We stayed in the villa with access to the adult pool. We love the view and had a great time. Only downside is the onsite restaurants are really lacking. They told us to make reservations for dinner and have the impression the food is good. The sushi restaurant was terrible. The main restaurant made decent snacks. We managed to get Uber (long wait and they cancelled frequently) and connected with a local taxi driver. We still think it’s a great property. Thank you. "

"This property is super cool and in perfect location. A 30 second walk to Manuel Antonio National Park and about 1-3 minute walk to the beach. Stunning views from balcony. "

"Hotel is fabulous, staff are amazing. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. Magnificent views from every vantage point. Lots of wildlife on the grounds. Monkeys, sloughs, iguanas, etc. We did the night walk with Maria. She was great and pointed out so many amazing species of tree frogs, sloughs moving, birds,etc. Also booked the waterfall hike (spectacular) and whale watching (saw at least 8-10 whales in addition to leatherback sea turtle, dolphins playing, and many species of birds). Highly recommend!! "
