Come fall in love with OBX sunsets in our stylish coastal farmhouse with gourmet kitchen, spa-like bathrooms and plenty of room for the fam. Wake up with the Croatan sound in your bedroom. Savor your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine on our pier. Fish off the pier. Enjoy al fresco dinners with the sunset! Relax in a soaking tub or carwash shower with the view. Bring your dog, we have a big fenced yard!  
The space  
Our coastal farmhouse cozy OBX retreat is completely remodeled with lots of character,  
important details, modern amenities and luxury  
touches.  
Open floor plan with cathedral beamed ceilings opens to incredible views of Croatan sound, floor to ceiling window and wall to wall sliding glass doors. Make gourmet meals in chef's kitchen with commercial range and hood, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and a built in beverage fridge. Gather around an oversized island, or make memories around dinner table to entire family and guests. A  
private wing room with sound view  
has a queen bed and a door to the deck, and a hall bath with shower right across. Down the hall on the other side is another bathroom, this one has a tub with whirlpool jets and shower. Bedroom with queen bed, another bedroom with 2 twins. A spacious master bedroom suite with sitting area, and a private desk overlooking the sound through 6 ft french doors, and a spa-like bathroom with cathedral ceilings, 2 vanities  
, a car wash shower and a soaking tub overlooking the sound!  
Outside is a deck with large gas grill, and an outdoor table. The deck extends over a treed shady yard with a fire pit and connects to a pier. Our entire property is completely fenced for safety. There is a gate to the private sandy beach to play or relax on. If your dogs like to swim, they will love it too! We love dogs and welcome your furry family members , no need to leave them behind.

All dog stays are subject for approval. Please review house rules for dog stays.  
If you wish to bring tour pet, please message us before booking. The fee for the second dog’s stay will be billed to you separately and it has to be paid the day before check in at the latest.  
  
If you bring more than 2 dogs without letting us know, there will be a fine.  
Dogs must not be:  
\-Out of control  
\-Unhousebroken  
\-Left alone at the listing without prior approval and if left- only in the crates ( we provide 2)  
\-Allowed into areas that are considered unauthorized to the guest  
\-Allowed in a public space without being harnessed, leashed, or tethered and not under the guest’s control .  
\-Indoor Dog “accidents” are to be cleaned before your departure or we ll be charging you for any pet stain cleaning!  
  
We leave in the neighborhood and asking you to follow these guidelines.

We love the fact how peaceful and quiet our home is, yet under 5 minutes to historic Manteo downtown waterfront with shops and dining, or 8 minutes to the Outerbanks ocean beaches. Fully fenced half acre yard offers ample parking for you, your boat, RV and your guests and plenty of room for your dog to run around safely.  
Other things to note  
This is a WATERFRONT PROPERTY. We have our own private beach as well as a the pier. It is fenced off for safety.  
Swim at your own risk. No diving from the pier! The water is very shallow. We recommend that everyone knows how to swim and you never leave any kids unattended, even if they are inside the gated yard.

#### Great place in a great town

Our 8 family members and a dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We choose it based on it being all 2 level so no stairs for my parents. The master bathroom was so large and luxurious. The views of the sound were so serene. We loved taking our dog for walks around the neighborhood. The key pad to enter took a little getting used to. The host was very responsive. We had a lot of fun exploring Manteo as well. The downtown and the Elizabethan gardens were all decided out for the holidays. We would stay here again.

#### Amazing sunsets

This is our third year at Serene Sound. Always a fantastic stay. The house is perfect. We love having our dogs with us. And fishing off the pier is always great. One of our group has mobility challenges, so we really appreciate the walk onto the fenced pier right out the back door

Beautiful Property, spectacular western expansive water views, charming house with modern coastal vibe, everything was five star especially our gracious hostess Olga! Walking distance to historic downtown Manteo and short drive to beaches. We hope to be fortunate enough to return for another wonderful stay.
