Back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.. Cosy Cottage is nestled in the heart of Mistley, a charming riverside village rich in history and natural beauty. This delightful two-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful haven for couples, friends, or small families looking to unwind. The cosy downstairs area features a spacious living and dining room, perfect for up to four guests. You’ll immediately feel at home with the warm, inviting atmosphere of the cottage.  
  
The living room offers comfortable seating for four, a Smart TV, and a DVD player, along with a Bluetooth stereo, DVDs, board games, and an eclectic collection of books. It’s the ideal space to relax after a day spent exploring the Essex countryside. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a cooker, grill, and microwave, has everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals—whether it’s morning coffee or a romantic evening dinner. The dining area comfortably seats four and is perfect for leisurely breakfasts or intimate candlelit meals.  
  
Upstairs, you’ll find two charming bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. The modern bathroom downstairs features a bath with a shower over, and fresh towels are provided—ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

Harwich, Colchester, and the Suffolk coast are also easily accessible for memorable day trips. Both Mistley and Manningtree have railway stations with regular trains to London, making it easy to explore further afield.

Parking is on street on a first come first served basis, you may at times have to park up to 30 meters away, please respect other neighbours access and never block driveways, park down private roads or restrict access down this narrow street.  
  
Check-in is from 3pm but if the cleaners have finished before then and you want to gain access please knock to see if they are inside. If you find the house is dirty or they are still working, you are welcome to leave your bags in the downstairs but unfortunately whilst they are cleaning we cannot give you access to any other part of the house.  
  
There are two front door keys kept in a key safe located at the side of the house behind the gas meter. Enter the combination code, press down the lever and pull it forward to open the box to release the keys to the property. Please then shut the safe and mix up the numbers to keep the code secret
