"The hotel is located right next to a tram so it’s very easy to get there from the train station. It is about a 15 minute walk away from the Duomo and even further for the river and museums so that’s something to consider. I think this is one of the few hotels that has an elevator in it which is a huge plus when traveling with multiple bags. The views from the gym are absolutely gorgeous! There’s a laundry and kitchen in the basement and the lobby has one of those cute, retro photo booths that you can use. It even has swings in the entrance. The only complaint I had was they don’t allow irons in the room, you have to go all the way down to the basement to use the communal irons and ironing boards they have set up in the laundry. Otherwise, for the price and location? I’d recommend it. "

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. Car park which we managed to get a space, parks 10 cars. Neighbourhood very good and it’s a walk down the hill to the bus stop which you can use to get into town for 1.70€. Reception can sell you the tickets. We did taxis back which cost us between 15-20€. After a day walking so much it was a relief to come back to the pool (not heated) to paddle in. Our room was 119 and 118 would have the same beautiful view. No drawers or storage space for clothes so couldn’t unpack. It’s more B&B as there’s no actual menu for food in the evenings and it’s a walk down that hill again to get to any local shops or restaurants. But they do a ‘snack’ menu. Sandwiches and two pizzas on it. And they have a bar you can get drinks from. Cheap prices. We chose this location as we were driving so needed to be outside the ZTL zone and not pay for expensive garage parking. So it suited us. If you are flying in. Stay closer to town is my advice. Would I stay here again. No. But huge praise for the reception ladies.Their English was brilliant. They helped us with everything we needed locally. "

"In one word: perfection. But I’ll say much more than that. I knew I wanted my 50th birthday to be epic, and it ended up being pure luck that put me in touch with Caterina. From the beginning, she was helpful, extremely communicative, and extraordinarily helpful, and she made sure everything ran smoothly. The vendors she recommended were great, and she helped with communication and ensuring my requests were honored. Check in was smooth and quick, and she escorted us from Impruneta to ensure we arrived to the villa correctly. The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable with modern showers and toilets and plenty of space for clothes and very nice hair dryers. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need including an ice maker! Plenty of parking if you have a rental car or two and Impruneta was an easy stroll away. The property itself is beautiful and lived up to the expectation in my head of what a beautiful Tuscan villa should be. The heated pool was beautiful and enjoyable & there were plenty of areas to just be able to sit and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area. Caterina and her lovely staff took care of us and helped with any issues that came up. They helped create a worry free and wonderful experience which I will remember for the rest of my life. Caterina is the friend and planner that everyone wants to have: kind, resourceful, funny, and helpful. She will make any experience you have memorable and greatDon’t hesitate to book! "
