Wonderful hotel with even more wonderful people.
This hotel is beautiful. We were treated so well by the staff! The room was great, and the bathroom was one of the nicest we had on our entire trip. The location in interesting; it's on a small bag road with nothing around it except for a couple of other hotels nearby. I feel that Mandalay is just a unique city, it seems quite large so everything is a bit spread out. There didn't seem to be a "downtown" area, but I might be wrong. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was because of it's proximity to Royal Mandalay, but we didn't even end up visiting because after reading about it it's not worth it and all of the money goes directly to the military, which we didn't want to support. There isn't much to do in Mandalay, but it's super interesting just going there to see a city that is so seldomly visited by tourists. The people are WONDERFUL.

New n comfortable hotel, away fm main road.
Overall good, new room, good wifi, nice staffs. What should be improved: ventilation in toilet (a bit smelly), quality n variety of BF, better fitness room.(small n dark), better cable tv signal.

It's a great place to stay in the North East of the city. Close to the Royal Palace. There is a large super market in walking distance (19th street). Highly recommended.

Bit noisy but great staff.
Great hotel for the price. If you don’t mind large volume of groups and the noise and crowding at breakfast buffet it’s ok. Staff are fantastic. Very helpful.

Good room and breakfast, remote location
The hotel is in a very quiet area with very little around (bars, resturants, shops). Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and good shower. The staff were super friendly and breakfast was good, not like in some more upmarket hotels we stayed at, but there were plenty of Asian and European foods and fresh fruit, pastries etc.. We were surprised to find the rooftop bar (which is advertised on the website) completely under construction, so there was nowhere to have a drink after a day of sightseeing. So this was a bit misleading and should probably be corrected on the website until it's operational again.

The hotel is in a beautiful leafy tree lined part of town only a few minutes walk to the moat and the walls of the old Palace with clear views of Mandalay Hill. However if you like to be close to the hustle and bustle of the downtown shopping area then this hotel is not for you. Swimming pool excellent. Breakfast just about ok. Rooms large, modern, clean and comfortable

Good experience
We arrived to Mandalay early in the morning by bus and we could enter our room straight away :). That was very helpful! Nice and spacious room. Free cocktails in the pool area during happy hour. Convenient location to visit around. Cheap bicycle rental.

Friendly, clean and comfortable
Lovely staff. One of the reception guys lent me his phone charger after I left mine in China. Nice comfy rooms and kept very clean. The happy hour by the pool was nice. Breakfast was not great but totally edible. The area was OK but lots of stray dogs around which seemed a little imposing at night and a bit far away from restaurants. Easy taxi though. Overall, great value for money. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. Food is very good and pool area very nice. Free cocktails around the pool 6:30-7:30pm. One of the nicer hotels around the area. Would highly recommend.

Surprisingly awesome stay
Everything was wonderful. Swimming pool, evening free cocktails, room ambience, mattress, linen, national geographic channel, star movies, welcoming and warm staff. We extended out stay by four days. We loved our stay and highly recommend to others as well.

New hotel in a quiet street
This hotel was amazing. Large spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows which are hard to find in Asia. From the moment we got there all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Cocktail hour by the pool is free and it’s nice and relaxing sitting having a chat to other travellers. Not many restaurants close by but it wasn’t an issue. Food at the hotel is a good price and tastes good. Breakfast was a good selection however the burners weren’t on so it was cold even when we turned up at 6.30 when breakfast starts. We would have no hesitation in staying here again. For the price you get 5* service at a budget price

Absolutely FABULOUS hotel!!
Absolutely LOVELY hotel- so clean, large and beautiful room, brilliant value for money, and great staff. And FREE cocktails (and mock tails!) during happy hour next to the pool!! I will absolutely return when back in Mandalay!!!

Pleasant stay
The hotel was hard to find, especially at night time, but if you tell a taxi driver they will know where to go. It was a hidden gem definitely. We got there and they upgraded our room for free since they only had two twin beds room left. Front desk staff was very nice and professional. Hotel was overall clean. The minor things are: mosquitoes in the main living space/lounge, food service did not have a menu since they are new, breakfast was OK did not have much selections, taxi has to be requested through the front desk since the property is not close to the main street (sometimes it may take awhile to get there). Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay with nice bed, clean room and great ammenities and spa!!!

Poor hygiene for food
Beware! I found moss on my piece of banana cake during breakfast, but the staff only toss my cake into the trash, without checking the rest of cakes on the plate. Only 2 pillows for a double bed. Very quiet at night with neither shop nor restaurant nearby. The only good thing is there is an ATM beside the lobby.

Good hotel but far from downtown
Good hotel but far from the downtown area where most restaurants are. Walking from hotel to downtown is hard as sidewalks are in bad shape.

Worth staying
The staff and hotel services were marvellous. We checked out in the morning and then went out for a day tour. When we got back to pick up our luggages, they had a shower room insidethe gym for us to use. The staff also gave us towels and toiletries! However, during our stay, bathroom smelled aweful, probAbly from the sewage.

New hotel with all facilities that you wish for. Friendly staff, clean room, and good location. Road to the hotel is a little bit rough but every taxi knows. Waiting for Sky Bar to open in the near future. Would recommend this hotel to anyone to Mandalay.

만달레이 오신다면 강추~~~! 만달레이궁 바로 근처에 있는 예쁘고 깨끗한 새 호텔입니다. 수영장도 있고 조용하고 조식도 괜찮아요. 6박하면서 호텔식당에서 점심 저녁 먹은적도 많은데 가격도 비싸지않고 맛있었어요. 저녁 무료 칵테일타임도 좋았구요. 다이아몬드플라자까지 그랩택시로 10분이면 가니까 필요한 물, 과일, 간식 장봐오면 호텔에서 푹쉬기 좋아요. 투어도 알아봐줬는데 여행한분들 블로그에서 본 딱 그 가격이고 수수료 안받더라구요. 미얀마 호텔 직원들 다 친절하지만 여기가 베스트였어요. 완전 추천합니다^^ (딱 하나 단점은 호텔택시가 있는데 비싼편이니 그랩타세요~) It's really good &new hotel! Good swimming pool, clean room, all staff are kind and make us comfortable for 6days. Breakfast is good, hotel restaurant is also good n not expensive. If you take grabtaxi, you can get diamond plaza in 15min. Not far from downtown but quite n pretty place. My family enjoyed stay here.

Personnel très très gentil et serviable qui est venu chanter happy birthday et à amené un gâteau ! Piscine agréable mais peu ombragée. Quartier résidentiel très verdoyant. Location de scooter à prix raisonnable mais les repas et les cigarettes sont chers!
