Decor is questionable.
Gym is tiny and no atmosphere. Just some dumbells, a bench, a bike and a couple of running machines.
Steak was OK. Breakfast was nice.

Staff and atmosphere are great, and hotel is perfectly located near the station.

Considering it was New Year's Eve it was remarkably quiet in our room. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The hotel opened on to the main road which was close to the railway but also served by free buses. We used them to visit several local amenities such as Manchester Museum which was also free. There are lots of good eating places nearby which we preferred to the hotel as the only meal we took there was a disappointing breakfast.

Nice clean room. Spacious. Heating worked. Stayed over new year's so not the quietest but can't blame the hotel for that. Stil, room was very good. The bed was super comfy.
Great location that is walkable to everywhere we needed.
Door pass needed for the lift and to get in at night. Good security!

Good location, lovely staff. Room was in some state of disrepair. Shower handle came off the wall, sink was blocked, and - first world problem, I know- but there are no plugs by the bed for phones. Could do with a refurb.

Room was clean and bed very comfy but room decor very tired with flaking coating on taps and desk veneer peeling. Discounted parking only available if booked online in advance which was not communicated before my arrival.

No bedside table on one side of the bed and staff were not happy with me raising

No water in the room. TV didn't work amd despite what Expedia told me the bed was not comfy at all!!
It's just dated in terms of its feel and its proposition.

Disappointed as everything was a bit chaos - key cards didn’t work on 2nd day, room wasn’t serviced and had to ask - when it was it was half done with refreshments/toilet rolls not topped up and having to wait in bar for room to be cleaned meant we were nearly late for bookings made later that day
