Run down, staff is not friendly if you don't speak French, no ice in the hotel??? Even at the bar when I asked. Didn't let us upgrade to a better room and even though they have free parking we had to park on the street due to the lot being full

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, convenient for local beaches and to walk around Granville. Parking garage is very tight and difficult to maneuver there is a second choice for parking outside of the garage.

Great renovation but still missing irons in rooms!
This was my second stay at this hotel. The hotel has been renovated and modernized since my first stay (2 years earlier) with the Christian Dior theme everywhere. Breakfast is pretty good. The bar is fine, but the service is rather slow if you want beer. The refrigerator seems to be a good walk down the hall to retrieve the Heineken mini keg every time you want a beer. My only major complaint with this facility is that there are no irons/boards in the room. The only iron is a communal one located in the housekeeping laundry room. I am almost certain that it is the same exact iron from 2 years prior because of the "burn" mark directly on the center of the soleplate that I recognized from back then. I'm not sure Christian Dior would vouch for this. Parking is underground and is a two level nightmare with tight turns and ridiculously small parking spaces. Anything larger than a Smart car or Mini Cooper may have issues, but then again, this is Europe.

Great location
We stayed in a duplex room for 2 nights. The room was very clean and spacious and the balcony had a sea view. The hotel is 2 mins from the beach and about 5 mins from the town. When we arrived the hotel parking was full but we were able to find free street parking on the street directly opposite the hotel.

Great location, large rooms
My two floor room was great for my wife and myself (we were upstairs) and my daughter who had the fold out sofa.. The rooms were modern, clean, and had good light (upstairs had a skylight) and a nice view. from the downstairs balcony. The garage is a challenge for anything other than a small car. It is possible to park in one of the stalls but requires great skill, nerves of steel, and a lot of manipulation. I don't know how they could fix it. If you don't like the anxiety, come with a smaller car.

Good hotel but some drawbacks.
Car park very cramped. Room was on two levels with awkward staircase to bedroom from lower level which had bathroom and seating. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Shower over bath with no curtain. Otherwise very good hotel so if booking watch out for these features and avoid them. Excellent location and very good breakfast.

It was booked just because i was looking for a hotel in front of the beach. Once there we realized that was not just a great view but it was a great hotel too. Definitely i will try come back but this time we will try to book the bedroom with the view.

We spend 3 very nice at this Hotel. It was quite noisy with all the children about, maybe they should put couples without children not at the same level as with couples with 3 or 4 children.

The room was quite small and the shower cubicle was not ideal as the floor got really wet so all the towels were needed to mop up. The staff changed these for us and dried the floor once asked. The hotel is not geared up for evening dining but only a short walk to the town where there are endless restaurants. Parking height restriction applies which we were not aware of before the stay. Luckily we managed to park on the road just along from the hotel but had a space not been there not sure what we would have have done as all on a one way system and parking is difficult in the town. Great place for cycling along the coast road. Highly recommended as a base.

Small, comfortable and clean room. Friendly staff. Dining room with panoramic view of the sea. Generous breakfast. Access a bit difficult but location close to all points of interest. Overall a great value.

Friendly reception, very comfortable, clean luxury room. Good view from balcony which has a table for two. Car park in secure dry basement, but very tight access for larger cars. Granville has a good range of restaurants, and some lively bars near the Hotel, all in walking distance. Shame there was no food or bar on site.....

Staff exellent, this Hotel is no good for people who have no transport because you have to walk down a very steep hill to beech and town, and walk up.ie eldeley people. they should have a suttle bus.

Cycling holiday (Normandy is VERY hilly!) Hotel fine. Breakfast far too expensive so we went into town. Such a shame. The young staff on the front desk were SO helpful, especially Anne, who gave us a great dinner recommendation for the Monday (when most places were shut)

I really liked this hotel because the rooms were comfortable and contemporary and the staff provided excellent service in a very friendly way. They made me feel at home. I booked a couple different stays because my work kept getting extended, left came back etc, so I tried different rooms. I recommend the balcony room over the regular room, not so much for the balcony (because I stayed in winter) but because the balcony rooms are larger. The bed was really comfortable, nice view and plenty of space. There's a parking garage so that's good too. The free internet is a little slow so I recommend upgrading to the faster internet though it's not necessary. Wonderful view from the bar/lounge area, just overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Very good hotel a sort walk from the town/beach.
Interesting underground parking. Card needed from reception and quite a manoeuvre.lovely room with balcony overlooking the sea. Very comfortable. Breakfast room overlooks the sea and has great views. Quant town with bags of history and some lovely historic buildings.

Nice beachfront hotel
The hotel is spacious, clean and in a great location. Only complaint is that the parking is challenging to navigate. You need to check in first to obtain the access key for the garage. To enter the garage, you drive down a curved, pretty steep driveway, which is bi-directional but the width only accommodates one direction at a time. The parking spots are extremely narrow, with columns on either side. The lights in the garage seem to be on some kind of timer so if you are unable to park in the allotted time, you are stuck in a dark garage.

Great hotel, just not close to Mont Saint Michel!
Loved this place! Only one problem. We booked this hotel because the discription said it was 15 mins from Mont Saint Michel! Wrong!!! It took us 50 mins driving to get there! So yes, it was lovely, along the coast, just not close like we were told on Hotels.com.
