Well located near the town. Secure parking for bicycles. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is good and plentiful.

We had a reservation booked early in June on Expedia in Brit hotel, Granville France, on the 8 of August. As usual expedia sends reminders of reservations prior to check in . We never received a cancellation or any problem of this sort before 8 August. Upon our arrival at the hotel , 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 8 being tired all day long, we were surprised to know that our reservation was cancelled with no reason ( probably overbooking) except system failure from the hotel. They didn’t have a room for us in close hotels except in Brit Hotel in Saint Lo 53 kms away with same price as we reserved in Granville. We went to Brit Saint Lo only to discover that the staff in Granville was lying to us . The manager and staff wanted to sell us 2 rooms with double price, ignoring the fact that we didn’t create the issue . Brit hotel did. I don’t recommend this hotel , knowing that this is the first time it happens with me. This hotel have no respect to clients .

Definitely the place to stay in Granville.
Really great hotel. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Very convenient location for getting into the town, which is well worth seeing. Reception staff were especially attentive.

We booked a triple room. We were put into 34 which was right next to the furnace pipes and overtop of the reception desk. One of the beds had a shelf at shoulder level which was very awkward. The room size and shower was good. The staff were friendly.

We stopped here to sleep the night on our way before getting to Mont St Michel. It was affordable and did the job. Bed was comfortable, although shower was awful. Not a lot of pressure and wasn't warm at all. The location was pretty good and we had a good stay.

Good stopover
We stayed just one night on a journey further west. The hotel is a perfect stopover but I am not sure whether it would fit the bill for a longer stay. The price was right and the facilities more than adequate for our purposes.

Lovely weekend break!
This is a great hotel for a weekend break– it is inexpensive and in a nice quiet area about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Granville. Although the room and bathroom were small and basic they were bright, clean and modern and have enough storage space for a couple of nights. The breakfast was lovely, lots of fresh local produce to choose from, both hot and cold. All in all, we really enjoyed our weekend here and would definitely stay again.

Lovely once we'd found it
We chose this hotel as we knew we'd be arriving after dark (October) and it was on a main road so would be easy to find. We overshot twice because the roadside sign was unlit (from town direction) and covered by a tree (from ring-road direction). After that, it was a very good place to stay, with parking, friendly staff, a comfortable room, clean bathroom and a good breakfast the next morning.

Great place for cheap and cheerful stay!
Hotel just out of the main centre of Granville, it is only basic but bright and modern and has everything you need! Rooms are very small but clean with such a comfortable bed and great power shower! Breakfast is delicious too.

Good Hotel
This was a good hotel for two nights. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortabl and quiet.It was a good temperature and the shower worked well. It was also a very short drive to the grocery store and the downtown shopping area. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

Good overall
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but the bathroom was a nice size. The room appeared clean and we had everything we needed. The lighting in both the room and hallway did stand out since it was a little unusual.

Modern Hotel
Hotel is conveniently placed for access to all amenities and routes, and has adjoining car park. It is within 10 minutes walk from the railway station... we even had a day out to Paris on the train. Breakfast and a menu choice of evening meals were bookable at reception as required. We ate twice in the hotel and the meals were reflective of local dishes and tasty. If we decide to return to this area in the future we would stay here again.

Not too awful, but wouldn't choose again
Arrived late (around 10pm) and we were unable to get in to the lobby. We had prepaid for the room, but entrance is done digitally after 8pm by paying the room tax with a credit card (luckily we have a credit card with a chip). Then, we tried the key, which still wouldn't open the front door. Finally figured out there was a code on the key ring. I had booked 3 rooms and had to do this process separately for each room. Took over 40 minutes to finally get in the hotel, then my husband and I struggled with the room key for several minutes. The room was clean, but smelled like sewer gas and several moths were flying around. The sheets were pressed and very soft. Towels were thin and scratchy and only two were provided. The shower was extremely small -even by European standards. Probably wouldn't stay here again

arived late so entry by code and keys left on reception one of our rooms was extremely smelly from the bathroom the other was fine it had been a long day so all we wanted was to sleep in the morning there was no one around so left the keys on the reception not the greatest hotel experiance but it was cheap so cant really moarn

Fine for a night stay
Yes, the room is very snall. We had a double bed and there was maybe a foot and a half to the wall on all 3 sides. The bathroom similar to a cruise ship's. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, no closet, just a few hangers above one of the night stands, and it has instant coffee amenities. It is about 5 blocks to the train station, 12 to downtown and 15 to the old city and the port with wonderful restaurants. Not much going on in the surrounding area except 2 pizza places, a bar and a patisserie within a block. We saw signs to a Carrefour market and a McDonald's so they may be nearby not on tha main road of the hotel. We stayed here because we were renting a car the next day and this was closer to the rental location. The day manager is very nice and speaks English, the after hours girl, not. The main door closes at 11:30pm and they give you a code to punch to get in. We did not see a single city bus so rent a car or be prepared to do a lot of walking.

La politique de cette établissement est froide. A l’arrivée, on nous demande expressément la taxe de séjour de 1€60. Le lendemain matin, on vient frapper fort à notre porte pour nous signifier qu’il est l’heure de partir, alors que j’étais allée prévenir que nous aurions 15 à 20 minutes de retard. De plus lorsque j’ai ouvert la porte, la personne a observé la chambre. Certainement pour savoir si nous étions prêt à partir, ce qui était le cas. La salle de bain aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement. Deux luminaires ne fonctionnent pas. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très diversifié, c’est agréable. Le personnel est réactif quand un client demande du pain. Hôtel de dépannage, le rapport qualité prix est un peu élevé.

A l’arrivée la chambre pas propre. Des excréments des les wc… Odeur nauséabonde! Poussières sur les meubles, trace de dentifrice au sol. Là tarif n’est pas au rendez quand au qualité de propreté et des services apportés.
