We only travelled by taxi to and from the hotel. There were amenities nearby but we did not feel comfortable walking. The hotel is spartan. The pool was not too appealing and our room was a bit sketchy. Only basic amenities were included (2 towels and nothing else) in the fairly dark room. The sink only had cold water and was broken. The atrium with the pool and thatched shelter was pleasant, but was used for car parking from about 9 pm to 9 am. There were lots of people around but we were not sure who they were (guests, longer term residents or locals hanging out).
