One of the cottage’s biggest advantages is its location. You’re approximately ½ mile from Spring River, about 1 mile from Mammoth Spring State Park, and only minutes from popular launch points, fishing access, and Cedar Valley Resort & Outfitters—making this an ideal home base for floating, kayaking, fishing, and exploring the Ozarks.

The Cottage

Carol’s Cozy Cottage is a charming, studio-style cabin thoughtfully designed for up to two guests.

A dedicated parking area is provided approximately 50 feet from the cottage. Access from the parking area is via an inclined, uneven gravel walkway, so guests should be comfortable walking on a sloped natural surface.

Inside, the cottage features a comfortable queen bed with two nightstands, a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and sink, and a private bathroom with a toilet and walk-in shower. A window air conditioner and plug-in electric heater provide seasonal comfort.

Though compact and cozy, the studio also includes a convenient folding table and two chairs, providing a dedicated space for indoor dining, board games, playing cards, morning coffee, or relaxing.

Outside, guests can enjoy their own deck furnished with two chairs and a small table. A small charcoal barbecue grill is also provided for outdoor cooking.

Carol’s Cozy Cottage combines comfort and simplicity, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of Ozark adventures.

Our Peaceful Woodland Setting 🌿

Nestled among the trees on nearly six beautiful acres, Hillcrest Cabins features just two charming cabins, each offering its own private accommodations, deck, entrance, and separate walkway.

The cabins are situated approximately 30 feet apart, and both may be occupied by guests at the same time. While each cabin offers its own peaceful retreat, guests should expect a neighboring cabin on the property rather than complete isolation.

For guest safety and property security, three exterior cameras are installed on the Hillcrest Cabins property, including two outdoor security cameras and one doorbell camera.

Camera coverage includes the parking area, walkway, and cabin entrance. There are no cameras inside either cabin.

Carol’s Cozy Cottage is named in honor of someone very special to our family.

Carol had a wonderful way of bringing warmth, laughter, and kindness to the people around her. She made others feel welcome and valued wherever she went.
